Why did the weekend fly by so fast? Spent Sunday Funday wine tasting in Clarksburg. We #chardsohard at Bogle Winery. Cory even joined the wine club so cheers to more trips in the future. We had a very chill weekend and even more chill week ahead. Trying to really embrace the final weeks of summer.

Intentions for the Week:

Soak up all my time with Bay before school starts
Make zero point meatballs
Kick my Mom’s ass at weigh-in this week
Take extra good care of myself
Decide on a 2020 planner
Actually take a hike on the weekend (not just talk about it…lol)
Breakup with sugar (added sugar) for 10-days (bye chardonnay)
Pink hair, don’t care?
Give out some random acts of kindness….the whole World needs it!

This week on xoxostacyb: Not making any promises lol, but I’m hoping to get up Target Tuesday. New Trader Joe’s items we’re loving. And finally my Old Navy Try-on. Maybe, just maybe Friday 5 too?

{weekend notes}

After being gone the last few weekends, I was looking forward to a weekend at home. As Bay used to call weekends “stay at home days!” It was really, really nice to do NOTHING! Like, nothing at all. We slept in. Drank lots of coffee in PJ’s. Sat by the pool both Saturday and Sunday. Had some really good dinners. And straight up kicked it.

After lots of resting over the last couple of days, I woke up this morning ready to kick Monday’s ass….kinda. Ha! Got my steps. Working on my water in-take as I type. Have a great day friends!

Needless to say, today’s post is going to be short + sweet!

Intentions for the Week:

Date night to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Closet Clean out + blog post all about it
Loose 1 1/2 lbs at Weight Watchers weigh-in (I’ve got money riding on it)
Create a new centerpiece. Maybe using a fern?
Track everything: steps + food + water
Stock-up on Leaves candles (so sad the Davis Bath & Body closed)

This week on xoxostacyb: sharing a zero weight watchers point taco Tuesday recipe. Bay Baked Reese’s S’more dip and it was divine. Hoping to get that recipe up too. I did a closet clean-out. Still have more to do….so we’ll chat about that at some point too. And last but not least – Trader Joe’s. We tried a bunch of new products, so we’ll be spillin the tea on what we think!

Good morning! Happy June! It’s officially the last week of school. Which basically equals = shit show. So many things happening as we wrap up the school year.

I accidentally deleted my on going to-do list on my phone. Like it’s gone, gone. I checked my deleted and it’s not even there to restore. At first, I was really, really stressin. Like sweat stressing. After I realized there is nothing at all I can do about it….It was kind of reveling. I’m sure there will be something I forget to do, but it’s okay.

Intentions for the Week:

celebrate my girl Nicole’s Birthday
fill in my June calendar with ALL THE THINGS
hit the gym mon – fri
hang with my nephews
sit by the pool
go to bed at a decent hour (why do I wanna be a night owl lately?)
listen to Bay give her Treasurer speech
wash all the windows + sliders (it’s amazing what a difference it makes)

Good morning! And happy Monday. I haven’t typed those words in a while. Truth is, I can’t remember the last time I woke up feelin it on a Monday….till today. I forced myself to the gym at 5am. And let me tell you, the struggle was real. The devil in my head had every single excuse not to go, but somehow I managed to get up and out the door. It’s amazing how great your day starts after a sweat sesh.

Happy Monday friends! Hope you all enjoyed that sunshine over the weekend. Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous. Made me so ready for Spring. January is like the longgessttt month ever…and we’re in the final week. I’m looking forward to flipping my calendar to February and a fresh start on a new month. One with less pressure. Less shit to do…..Kinda. Amway, hope your Monday is off to a good start. I’m getting my hair done today, which always puts a smile on my face!

{trader joe’s haul}

I first wrote about my LOVE for TJ’s back in March of 2016. Many of the items I’m sharing today, you will also find on {20 trader joe’s products i’m obsessed with}

I re-read the post and I think this is my favorite part, and still totally true:

Little does anyone know, I’m mainly there for the flowers, cheese and carbs….maybe something organic. Sometimes.

Haha. 100% accurate! I reward myself with a bottle of chard + the 99 cent bag of dark chocolate covered almonds after every successful trip too!

It’s clear that I have a THING for Trader Joe’s. Other than Target, it’s my most frequented store that I don’t hate spending time in.

Another, more recent post {food finds} I added some newer TJ’s finds.

One time I even blogged about {$12 grocery store arrangement} I but fresh flowers weekly and TJ’s by far, has the best + most inexpensive selection! I also made {floral + herb smudge stick diy} with TJ’s stems. Probably my favorite TJ’s floral purchase – eucalyptus. Remember when I made this for my shower? {a little of this + a little of that}

Well friends, we’re in the home stretch of summer. Today I’m feeling equal parts excited AF for school to start and not sure “I’m ready” to drop my little girl off at Middle School. The Sunday scaries got me good last night. I tossed + turned over thinking. The hustle and bustle of school beginning has me getting all kinds of organized. Ready for the routine. The not so settling part – we’ve got so much “new” happening this year. The whole new school. Our morning routine is changing drastically. Hello zero period. You know what I mean? All that unknown stuff. Luckily Bay is beyond pumped which makes my heart incredibly happy!

I really wanted to dedicate this week on the blog to all things back-to-school. But, then I remembered that whenever I spend the entire week on one topic, I get so burnt out. So, we’ll be chatting about ALL THE THINGS. School. #ootd’s Organization. Oh and I’ve got the best easy weeknight dinner for you too. It’s a crockpot recipe I’ve been making for years.

~~Celebrate Toni’s Birthday~~ – (love hanging with my high school girlfriends)
Workout Monday – Friday – (failed…skipped Thursday + Friday)
~~15k steps per day~~ – (but I did get my 15k per day!!)
~~Forever 21 shopping trip~~ – (Bay found so much cute stuff)
~~EARLY bedtime~~ – (9pm yo my boo)
~~Punctuality~~ – (on time everyday…can I get a WHOOP WHOOP)
~~DIY Happy Birthday banner~~ – (we taped it to the wall….things have changed)
~~All the 1st day of school traditions~~ – (except Raley’s…so sad. Damn zero period)
~~Final Tahoe summer hurrah~~ – (just what the doc ordered)
