You guys, I bought long shorts. Not like Mom shorts. Which I consider 4″ inseam. These are the lonnggg to my knees, shorts. They are back! Wasn’t sure it would be my thang, but turns out….I’m kinda diggin em. We’ll chat more about that next week.
So, what prompted annnnother Target post, I went in to pick up my long shorts order. Saw a sign that said “select tops” BOGO (buy one get one) 50% off. It’s select AF, but I was able to find some cute shit.

Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend. The weather was so good yesterday, I didn’t want Sunday to end. Then Monday had to happen. Woke up sick, I think? Lost my voice over the weekend. Was kinda thinking allergies, but today I’m just beat. So, I’m going to dedicate the week to wellness and self care. Hopefully I can get myself on the mend. Because, God knows, I don’t have time to get sick.

Spring is here (beating a dead horse, I know) and so is our seasonal Bucket List. All the things we hope + wish + plan on exploring + creating + making + doing!
Keeping a running list is a great way to remember all seasonal things you enjoy doing or look forward to do. When we have a free weekend, I like to refer to our To-Do’s and check items off as we go
Monday! When you don’t whoop it up on the weekend, Monday’s don’t suck quite as bad. Not going to lie, yesterday I straight up struggled. Kept trying to stay busy so I didn’t think about pouring a glass of wine or opening a beer..lol. Enjoy this sunshine and make today a good one!!

Happy Tuesday peeps! Sorry for the multiple posts today. Yesterday’s {weekend notes} was all set and ready to publish and somehow about half of the post was gone. Deleted. Nowhere to be found. And I chose to drink wine instead of work on it more last night. Priorities…..You know how it goes.

I was flipping trough a Taste of Home magazine last week and stumbled on these adorable marble meringue hearts. I’m such a sucker for cheesy Holiday tchotchkes + treats. And since I had all 4 ingredients for the meringues and there was no school yesterday, I recruited Bay the Baker to whip some up. I have one on each place setting.

January is like the longgessttt month ever…and we’re in the final week. I’m looking forward to flipping my calendar to February and a fresh start on a new month. One with less pressure. Before we get started with #ootd’s – let’s chat about the Ring Light, since I got so many questions about it. Bay got this for Christmas. And it’s legit! Our house is a serious dungeon. We have 2 windows, throughout the entire house. And 2 sliders. They are the length of our bottom floor, but still. Our shack it dark! AKA zero natural lighting. Which makes taking photos really tricky. This thing is a dream come true…lol.
