Hi friends. Shit is just so weird right now. Still going through all the emotions. Stressed. Sad. Pissed off – that I can’t easily get the basics. Not trying to hoard, just need some necessities. Scared of the un-fucking-known. Happy to have more slow time.
Lets all remember to spread kindness. The world needs that shit right now!
Intentions for the Week:
Create a new habit – they say it take 2 weeks, and I’ve got that!
Find fun ways to move my body without going to the gym
Take Charlie for lots of walks
Keep a positive mind
KonMari my closet
Master at-home mani + pedi’s
Come up with a tequila + emergen-C cocktail
Only purchase what we actually need
Work on my skincare
And since I think we all have extra slow time, I rounded up THE best board games. I read the reviews. Did some homework. Gathered a great selection of games all available on Amazon, so you don’t need to leave the house.
Happy Hump Day friends! I’m trying my best to be peppy AF, but to be honest – I’m not feeling it. Politics. Coronavirus. Nashville. It’s just kinda sad, you know what I mean? And I gave up beer + wine, so I can’t even self medicate (my favorite way) at the end of the day.
Since I don’t have much to say – let’s keep it short + sweet! How about a bomb ass recipe?
If you had to choose between being skinny or eating tacos. Would you choose crunchy or soft tacos 🌮🤔
Or Taco Bell 😆 I’m telling you a Taco Bell on the beach is good for the soul 🌊 add it to you summer to-do list!
It’s been a while since I shared a good ol Taco Tuesday recipe. I’ve kinda switched gears and Tuesday have become a regular Target sharing day. But, I tried out a new recipe last week and….
HIT it straight out of the ballpark. With help of the ever so talented, Half Baked Harvest. This recipe was adapted from her oven baked tacos. I just switched it up a bit to make them a little more xoxo stacyb….and a lot less ingredients!
Company casserole. Hot dish (as Stover would call it). Pasta bake. Mom’s spaghetti pie. You name it – every family has their version of this recipe. Using the same basic ingredients in each. Except we jazz it up a bit. You know know I roll.
This recipe was adapted from on on Pioneer Woman’s classics. With my own little spin on it.
Whenever there is a meal train, someone has a baby, or you just feel like taking a homie something delish. This is the recipe! Promise. It’s a crowd pleaser. It’s one of those just good for the soul meals. Ya know what I mean?
Happy Hump Day homies! Trying to get back into posting at least one recipe per week. To be honest, I’ve got so many to share….I could post 2 per week. As requested – next week will be the pasta bake that I made Sunday. Stay tuned.
If you’re looking for a new healthy + fresh salad to add to your rotation – I got you boo!
This salad is great for meal prepping lunches too! It saves for about 3 days.
Hi friends! It’s been a while since I’ve shared a recipe on here. So, I wanted to change that STAT!
This coming Saturday is Chinese New Year. And you know that I’m all about celebrating ALL THE THINGS. Holidays are kinda my thing! We like to go all out. Big or small. Holiday or not. Typically we celebrate with one main thing…….
Bay and I wanted to put a fun + healthy spin on one of your very favorite Chinese dishes. Fried rice. If Bay could eat fried rice every day, she 100% would. Ha! Since it’s the new year and everyone, inducing myself, seem to be on the clean eating train. I am currently on week #2 of the Kaia Fit 30-day Jump-start program. Which is very clean eating.
My wheels started turning and I decided to whip up on of my favorite healthy rice dishes. Shrimp + Pineapple Fried Rice using Hinode Calrose Brown Rice. Grown in U.S.A. Non GMO. Gluten Free. Heart healthy.
You can find a variety of Hinode rice at Walmart + Nugget Market.
Before we get started on the recipe, I wanted to chat a little more about Chinese New Year.
