{weekend notes}

After being gone the last few weekends, I was looking forward to a weekend at home. As Bay used to call weekends “stay at home days!” It was really, really nice to do NOTHING! Like, nothing at all. We slept in. Drank lots of coffee in PJ’s. Sat by the pool both Saturday and Sunday. Had some really good dinners. And straight up kicked it.

After lots of resting over the last couple of days, I woke up this morning ready to kick Monday’s ass….kinda. Ha! Got my steps. Working on my water in-take as I type. Have a great day friends!

Needless to say, today’s post is going to be short + sweet!

Intentions for the Week:

Date night to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Closet Clean out + blog post all about it
Loose 1 1/2 lbs at Weight Watchers weigh-in (I’ve got money riding on it)
Create a new centerpiece. Maybe using a fern?
Track everything: steps + food + water
Stock-up on Leaves candles (so sad the Davis Bath & Body closed)

This week on xoxostacyb: sharing a zero weight watchers point taco Tuesday recipe. Bay Baked Reese’s S’more dip and it was divine. Hoping to get that recipe up too. I did a closet clean-out. Still have more to do….so we’ll chat about that at some point too. And last but not least – Trader Joe’s. We tried a bunch of new products, so we’ll be spillin the tea on what we think!

Highlights from the weekend……..

I picked up a new Starbucks tumbler for my Iced coffee’s….and I’m kinda obsessed with it. You’d die if you saw me walk into work in the morning. I have my coffee cup. Yeti full of lemon and ice for water. Then my iced coffee for an afternoon pick me up. Plus a la criox. What can I say, I like drink options!

Friday evening we made a trip to Davis to watch my nephew play baseball! Good game!

And pizza at Uncle Vito’s where Cory proceeded to braid Bay’s hair. And for the record, I cannot braid.

This right here, it’s was dreams are made of……

We did absolutely NOTHING on Saturday morning. We took our laziness out to the pool to at least catch some rays.

We tried the new restaurant Ravine on 16!

Good drinks. This was a jalapeno margarita. Good food. We tried the nachos + sliders + wedge salad + chicken penne pasta. Everyone loved their food! And I thought it was a good price point.

Only complaint….it’s loud AF! Like you can hardly hear the peeps at your own table.

Nightcap. Cheers! I guess we did do something this weekend….

Does anyone else wake up early on the weekends. Sneak downstairs so you don’t wake anyone up. Open all the windows. And sip coffee in complete silence? Me too!
