Anyone else still quarantine organizing? I’m fucking obsessed with getting rid of shit. Not typically in the form of clothing. Every once in a while, it just has to be done.
After my big closet clean that I shared on Instagram the other night, I’ve received quite a few inquiries asking how I manage to keep things so minimal.
Number 1 – there is nothing minimal when it comes to my clothing collection. Those words just don’t exist! I do know when it’s time to let that shit GO!

Father’s Day is right around the corner. I’m talking 10 days ladies. I swear, Father’s Day sneaks up on me every year. And I think we can all agree…..Men are either the easiest to buy for or the very hardest? Am I right? Like, there is NO in between. So, we better hop to it!
Sometimes we overthink things. Don’t stress. It’s not all about the fancy gifts. Sometimes it’s just the thought of planning some quality time. A little extra effort. Especially when it comes from the kiddos. I’m sharing some ideas on how to make Father’s Day extra special.
Whether you go out to his fave brunch or dinner spot. Maybe the golf course or Top Golf to hit some golf balls. The lake for a day on the water. The local brewery for some beers. Does he like going to the movies? Grab all his top candy + snacks and head to the show. Or the store he loves to shop at. Whatever it is – makes reservations and arrangements ahead of time. That way you can just go and have fun!
Pick his number one meal. Breakfast. Brunch. BBQ. Whatever it is….grocery shop and have it all prepped. Have the kids set the table. How cute are they necktie napkins? Super easy to do. I’ll share the DIY below. These menus are the perfect touch. They are customizable do you can add anything you’d like.

It’s Frriiiiidayyyy!! We made it. Longest short week everrrrr!
You guys, the worst thing happened last night.
I dropped and shattered my iPhone screen. I was unloading groceries and dropped it in my driveway. Face down. You know that feeling when you pick it up and the screen is fine and you kinda wanna do a cartwheel? Yeah, I didn’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling this time. Legit wanted to cry. It cracked so much that when I run my fingers across the screen, it feels like I could get a splinter.
It’s getting fixed now. I feel fucking naked. My phone, it has my to-do list in the notes section. I can’t text Bay. Can’t look at my MyFitnessPal to track my macros…and I really want a snack. Ha. My alarms? What if I forget to do something. No online banking. No random scrolling. No googling. No email. No Pandora. No clock. No Waze to figure out the fastest way to get someplace. So weird. So sad too. Being without my phone for 2 hours can make me feel like I cannot function. Anyway, on the bright side – it’s getting fixed. And all will be right in the world again. Maybe I should do one of those digital detox weekends? Nah, F that!
What I’m really here to share is my updated front porch. I gave it a little face lift.
Hosed her off. Pulled out some spray paint. New fresh plants + mulch. And I’m in LOVE! We live in a rental, so there is only so much I can do. I’m not trying to break the bank. This was a VERY budget friendly patio refresh. Because, let’s keep it real, I’d rather buy a new pair of Madewell jeans with that money…HA!

Weekend plans? You guys, I’m a free woman. Well, kinda. More like my calendar is free AF! Meeting some of my girlfriends for happy hour tonight. A little shopping tomorrow. Followed with a Mother’s Day spa date at Cache Creek Casino. Sunday we’re doing the Capay Garden Tour. Never done it before, but I keep hearing great things. I’m looking forward to a weekend of family + friends + cheers!

Happy first day of May! And hump day! Whoop Whoop! I grabbed a bottle of chardonnay from Trader Joe’s and it’s kickin it in the fridge as I type. Thank sweet baby Jesus lent is finally over! I was flipping trough a Taste of Home magazine last week and stumbled on these adorable marble meringue hearts. I’m such a sucker for cheesy Holiday tchotchkes + treats. And since I had all 4 ingredients for the meringues and there was no school yesterday, I recruited Bay the Baker to whip some up. I have one on each place setting.
