I keep reading about the “Harvest Moon” tonight. The first full moon that’s been visible across the U.S. since 2000. They say it wont happen again till 2049. So make sure you check it out.

I got 99 problems, but shoes aint one! In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve added a couple new pairs of kicks to the family. First, I pulled the trigger on the Free People Mont Blanc Sandals. Which I scored for $50. It was one of those good ol meant to be moments. They were the ONLY pair left. And just so happened to be in my exact size. Meant to be, right? Then last week the Strappy Clog Sandal that I’ve had my eye on, went on maj sale. I’m talking more than 60% off. It was love at first sight.

To be 100% honest though, shoes are not my weakness. I’m rather picky when it comes to shoes.

1 – because they are typically an investment

2 – when I find a pair of shoes I LOVE, it’s all I will wear

3 – they have to be comfy AF…I don’t mess around

Now fun, cute tops + jeans…..they are for sure the thing I can’t say no to.

With these two new recent additions, I’d say my shoe game is on point for the summer. I will run these puppies into the ground.

It’s Hump Day…..unfortunately not Friday.  Even though it feels like it should be Friday.  Anyone else?  All day yesterday, I thought it was Wednesday.  I wrote it.  Almost screwed up some plans.  Then I realized it was Taco Tuesday, and that made it a little better.

Speaking of Taco Tuesday, Maria’s Cantina stepped up their Taco Tuesday game.  The normal 2 Woodland Tacos + Modelo for $5 have a new partner.  2 Woodland Tacos + Margarita for $10!  And the bartender can also make a mean skinny, skinny marg too!  You’re welcome.

TOMORROW is the first day of March!  We are inching closer and closer to Spring.

20 days to be exact.  The countdown has begun.

I’m dreaming of Spring.  And all things Spring.  Nothing beats the onset of Spring.  Am I right?

You guys, I’m officially sick.

The cold finally hit me.  I’ve been fighting it for over a week.

I have a rule for sick days…..

Don’t dress like you feel.  Wear something cozy, but make sure it’s cute.

Is it just me, or can a cute outfit make you feel a little better?  Just a little?

If I wore a hoodie and leggings to work (which I’ve never in my life done) I would probably just surrender.  Lay my head on my desk and give up.

I will survive.  Because I have a cute cozy sweater on.  My favorite slide on sneakers.  And of course, jeans.

I plan to test this theory today.  I got my blonde touched up last night….shout out to my favorite tall can drinking slut cake, Allison.

Annndddd, I finally broke down and bought the booties of my dreams!!  Remember when I blogged {that bootie though} back in September?  I tried a few pairs and returned them all.  Monday morning I said fuck it, and bought my #1 top pick, the Free People ankle boot.

Aren’t they gorgeous?!?!
