Happy Friday the 13th + Full Moon. You better bust out all your crystals and sage. Shit’s might get wild tonight! Ha!

I keep reading about the “Harvest Moon” tonight. The first full moon that’s been visible across the U.S. since 2000. They say it wont happen again till 2049. So make sure you check it out.

Weekend Plans: WE. HAVE. ABSOLUTELY. NOTHING! Which means I’ll probably jam pack it with all kinds of random shit!

5 things I’m loving this week……

CREEPY CANDY TRAY //

Bay’s having a couple of girlfriends over to get ready for the first dance of the year. So, clearly I needed to make something cute. I just can’t help myself. Since they serve food at the dance, I made a fun Creepy Candy Tray for them to snack on while they curl their hair and apply wayyyy too much highlighter. This is the $3 skeleton hand I scored this week. It’s been so much fun playing with it. It’s been popping all over the house. And it legit makes me jump every time I see it! I already had the marble & gold tray. Stopped at Walmart this morning and grabbed one of each of their boxed 99 cent candies. It’s like the boxed candy you get at the movie theater, just a fraction of the price. Lined up the candies on the tray. Topped with the skeleton hand and it’s perfect for the season. Super inexpensive. I think it would be a cute addition to a Halloween party.

SNEAKERS //

Bay told me my new sneakers are hideous. This pulls me in 2 directions. 1 – makes me guess, are they really that bad? 2. I’m gonna rock them every.single.day just because she thinks they’re terrible. Not going to lie, I had them on this morning and totally changed into different shoes after her reaction. HA! But, you guys – they are $17! And I actually really kinda dig them. I need to re-lace and tighten them up a bit. Then we’re reevaluate if they get to stay or if they gotta go.

BED PILLOWS //

I was feeling board with my bedding last weekend. I love my actual bedding, just needed to jazz it up a bit. Scrolled Pinterest and found lots of inspo using 3 colored pillows in the back against the headboard. Since I already had 2 of the velvet pillows. I spent $9 on a third. Such a little change, I get it. But, it did the trick. Without spending a shit-ton of money. Try it. Add a new pillow. Make your bed differently.

CREAMY GUAC //

I mastered a creamy guac. And the best part – It’s actually semi healthy! It’s simple and so, so good. I’ve been making it on repeat for Taco Tuesday at our house. I love to dip cucumber in it too. Yumm!

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 2 ripe avocados, halved + pitted + cubed
• 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
• 1/3 cup Chobani Low-Fat Greek Yogurt (I can only find this at Walmart)
• 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
• handful of cherry tomatoes, quartered
• 2 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
• salt + pepper

Here’s what you’ll do:

Add avocado + lime juice to a bowl and mash with the back of a fork.

Stir in remaining ingredient.

Dip away!

Lastly today’s #ootd!

Top (under $25) – Just another Target find. I was blown away with the style + fit of this top. It’s under $25 and feels wayyy more expensive. It comes in solid black too! They are selling fast, so get your hands on one asap. I bought my normal size medium. Everything fits great, except I could use a little extra room in the arms. I find them to be a tad tight.

Denim (manic monday) – I totally forgot about these Levi’s 721 High Rise Skinny Jeans. I’ve had them for over a year and found them in a random drawer in my dresser. SCORE! They are under $40! Free next day shipping with Zappos too! These are the shade manic monday and they have the perfect distressing. Totally appropriate for work.

Sunglasses (under $25) – You know I’ve been rocking these sunnies all damn summer. I found them on major sale. Do yourself a favor and get a pair. I’ve had 8 peeps buy them since I started posting them. And everyone has told me they were surprised at how flattering they are. I think they look good on every face shape!

Necklace(set of 5 for $10) – They are not going to last forever with that price tag. But, they’re fun! And $10 for a 5-pack. SOLD! Bay and I have been wearing them almost every day since I found them at Target.
