Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend. The weather was so good yesterday, I didn’t want Sunday to end. Then Monday had to happen. Woke up sick, I think? Lost my voice over the weekend. Was kinda thinking allergies, but today I’m just beat. So, I’m going to dedicate the week to wellness and self care. Hopefully I can get myself on the mend. Because, God knows, I don’t have time to get sick.
Intentions for the Week:
- Take care of myself (I don’t have time to get sick)
- Make a Spring Self Care list
- Celebrate Cory’s Birthday
- Share past Easter posts
- Help Bay work on her Spring Show buyer letter
- Take outfit photos for the blog
- Write a post on Easter basket ideas
- Plan out our day in the City
- Drink a shit-ton of water
- Hit my health goals for the week
This week on the blog: Spring Self Care. Share a new #ootd. Lots of Easter goodies.
Highlights from the weekend…..

I ran into Nordstrom Rack to make a return, and accidentally ran straight into the Free People section. And Oh My Gawd. There were so many cute tops, I was in heaven. This on came home with me. For $35! I wore it twice over the weekend, that’s how much I love it.
Check out these other top that are all at a HUGE discount.
This one may, or may not have made it into my bag too!

Date Night at Morgans On Main. We had originally planned to go to the movies. Sometime on Friday’s I’m just straight up dead. So we settled for dinner and an early night in.

I did my Weight Watchers weigh-in Saturday morning. And I was up .2 lbs. Of course I was a little bummed, but I had a feeling I wasn’t going to loose. I didn’t log any of my food for 3 full days. Out of pure laziness. It’s all good, I’m back this week and ready to kill the weigh-in on Thursday!!

The UC Davis Plant Sale happened on Saturday. My Mom and a I scooped up some really pretty plants. I grabbed a mint plant too, which I’ve already attacked as garnish for my mock tails…lol.

For all of those asking, there are more plant sales on the calendar.

We’ve been sharing the Greek Delight at Crepeville for as long as I can remember. It’s actually the ONLY thing I’ve ever had on their menu. So good!

Always enjoy hitting the Davis Farmer’s Market for some fresh produce + flowers. You cannot beat $5 ranunculus.
Bay made it home from her CASL conference just in time for Everett’s Pirate Party.

I piked up this orange and white stripe button front tank from Target last week and it’s so cute. And only $14!
Even “Pirate Uncle” Cory was impressed with the Pirate ship.

Such a cool party. Never seen anything like it. Those boys (and Bay) were happy and occupied for hours. Love Barrett’s tongue hanging out. And Bay’s side eye. They were focused on spraying us with the water cannon…lol.

Saturday night stroll in the neighborhood. The sky looked crazy wicked.

Easy Sunday mornings. Extra cups of coffee in the cutest $5 bunny mug. Target Drive up pick-up. And Blueberry muffins in the oven. And I didn’t have to change out of my fave PJ’s till 11am! Shouldn’t all Sunday’s be more like that?

Here’s another look at this adorable mug I added to the collection.
Stoneware Bunny Figural Mug Pink

I started using Rachel Parcell’s crumb topping on Bay’s favorite $1 Blueberry Muffins {Friday 5}
Using your hand mix 1/4 cup softened butter + 1/2 cup sugar + 1/2 cup flour. I tasted it and it’s to die for.

I made egg white in my Donut Pan and they were delish. I’ll share it this week sometime.

Sunday watering day.

And my Easter grass is growing.

Alex and I made our runway debut at the Bella Moda Boutique Fashion Show.

And I’m not going to lie. I froze. Ha! When you walk out from behind the curtain and all these peeps are staring at you. Looking at what you’re wearing. I thought I was going to trip. Or do something really dumb. So I just laughed. Ha!

Our #1 fan! Thanks for coming Robin!!!

Spent the rest of the day at the good ol pig barn. Even did a pig photo shoot with Archie + Timothy. Technically we need the photos for Spring Show.
And we finished the night off with dinner at Cory’s. He made us chicken marsala. Which I haven’t had or made in years. Of course he killed it…so good!

And that’s all I got for today friends. I hope you had a great weekend. Now let’s do this Monday. It’s a busy week with 4-H meetings. But we’ve got a fun weekend ahead to keep our eyes on the prize!!!
