You guys, I hate to say it, but can 2020 get any worse? I take that back. Yes, yes it can. Everyday it’s something new + different. Not good stuff either. My heart breaks for all the fire victims.
I did see, possibly, the best covid new to date. Holy Rosary is doing a drive-thru fair taco fundraiser. I might camp out the night before. Anyone wanna join me? Save the dates 8/29 – 8/30. Holy Rosary Community Center on California Street. I’ll see you there!
On my weekly intentions, I’m going to add: Share a recipe. I miss sharing writing up yummy recipes. Then seeing you guys recreate them in your kitchen. So, I’m going to be better at it.
Anyone else is obsessed with the Starbucks egg bites? They are such a great healthy + quick option for breakfast. And I’ve found a way to make them very similarly but with your oven at home! No fancy equipment needed, just a little water bath and a muffin tray.

FRIIIIDAYYYYY! You guys, there is only one more Friday left in 2018! So NUTS! What’s on the agenda today? Shopping? Wrapping? I have finally completed my Christmas shopping. Miracles do happen…HA! Just patiently waiting for the final packages to arrive….with my fingers crossed. I got up super early this morning. Turned on the Christmas tree lights. Made a cup of coffee. And had a serious wrapping sesh. The UPS delivery guy dropped of more packages at 6am…and they are officially wrapped and under the tree. 4 more sleeps till Christmas!
How great is it having a full weekend before the Holiday madness hits? We have a couple more {christmas traditions} to mark off the list. Then I foresee, lots of lounging and hanging out at home. Which I’m so looking forward too.
ONE – Target Top // I walked into Target the other day….how many sentences have I started like that…lol! So, I walked in. Spotted this Who What Wear top out of the corner of my eye. Straight up got out of the long ass customer service line (I was like 2 peeps from being next). And grabbed the top! In the meantime about 38 people got in line in front of me. But, I got the top! And that’s all that really matters. It’s super cute guys. Get one!

TWO – Mary Poppins Returns // Last night my Mom, Bay and I went to see the new Mary Poppins movie. You guys, it’s so good. Stick it on your list of things to do while your kids are on Winter break. I was a little bummed they didn’t sing a Spoonful of Sugar though. Now I need to get my hands on the original. Bay doesn’t think she’s ever seen it.

ONE – Before I die…… // Has anyone stopped by and written on the wall? We’re driven by it time and time again, but never stopped. This week I added it to our intentions for the week and we make it happen. I love seeing our little town participate in such a cool art exhibit. Put it on your weekend to-do’s. Let your kids write what comes to mind. It’s cute to see what they’re thinking. Take your own chalk and find a space!

ONE – Holiday Cups // November 1st, Starbucks debuted the 2017 Holiday cup. No big deal, just the day after Halloween. Not going to lie, I almost think my coffee tastes better in the Holiday cup…Ha! And I look festive AF with my red matching sweater, don’t you think? Anyway, go get your cup of cheer and make shit happen. 5 o’clock is just around the corner!
My sweater above is now available online at Target. And comes in a cream color too! I’m obsessed with it. The sweater is also included in the spend $40, get a $10 giftcard!!
Bishop Sleeve Pullover – A New Day
TWO – Gratitude // Seems to be the theme of November. And I’m totally into it. I’ve already completed #1 + #2. Promised Bay a Dutch Bros. after school, so does that mean I can cross off #3? Make a Trader Joe’s weekly stem purchase on my lunch break #4. #5 is going to be tricky. WTF are my strengths? And 3 of them. Anyway, I think it’s a fun list. Feel good shit. Join me and try it out.
THREE – Halloween // So many kids. So much candy.
We start Halloween night every year at GG’s house. We gather all the cousins we can for the annual Halloween costume picture. GG had a smile on her face the entire time. Can you believe she’s the creator of all this. All these great grand kids. And that’s not even all of them.
Starbucks new Unicorn Frappuccino is the overnight Instagram sensation. Clearly, we had to see what the buzz was all about. I mean, it looks cool and all. Butttt, how does it taste?
I placed my order for pick up as we were leaving the house this morning. I didn’t tell Bay that I also ordered her something too. I’m the lazy ass Mom that pulls up and sends my 10 year-old in the store to fetch my grande pike in a venti cup with a stopper. I’m sure if you’re a regular at Starbucks on Ashley Ave, then you’ve seen my girl run in a few times!

Are you a coffee fanatic like myself? Starbucks or Dutch? I’m a loyal Starbucks girl. The app is amazeballs. I order my coffee then run in and out in a matter of minutes. You can’t beat that for morning coffee shop lines. They can be unreal.
I’m also a gold cardholder since 2008. Told you I drink a shit ton of coffee. I actually didn’t drink coffee, like at ALL. Then in 2006 I had a baby and that shit changed real quick. I realized mom’s NEED coffee. It’s kind of a deal breaker. No coffee No talk. Once I get that warm cup of joe in my hands, I’m instantly a different person…lol. True story.
Let’s be honest, do kids even pick out their classroom Valentines anymore? I know Bailey doesn’t….lol. I search Pinterest for a couple cute options and see what I can find at Target. She’s ALWAYS on board with whatever I find. This year I totally lucked out. I headed to Target to grab a couple dinner ingredients and whala – my eye caught these cute eraser rings. I grabbed two bags and called it good. Hit Pinterest the next day with key word Valentine eraser rings and this adorable free printable popped up.
