Alas, June rolls in! #holycowhowdidthathappen Ha!

This weather just screams summertime. I cant even express my excitement. With only 5 more days of school left, we are ready to say the least! We’re currently planning out our summer. Weekend trips. Tahoe stays. Pool days. Bucket List. Love the idea of these giant summer calendars to keep all your plans in motion.

It’s Friday, so let’s chat about 5 things on my mind……..

ONE – Before I die…… // Has anyone stopped by and written on the wall? We’re driven by it time and time again, but never stopped. This week I added it to our intentions for the week and we make it happen. I love seeing our little town participate in such a cool art exhibit. Put it on your weekend to-do’s. Let your kids write what comes to mind. It’s cute to see what they’re thinking. Take your own chalk and find a space!

Originally created by artist Candy Chang on an abandoned wall in New Orleans, Before I Die is a global art project that invites community participation. This public wall has been produced more than 2,000 times in 70 countries, and presented in 35 languages. The participatory art exhibit invites passers-by to complete the sentence, “Before I die, I want to…” by writing on the wall with chalk to contribute a heartfelt wish, a goal, or an intention.

THREE – Target + Museum Of Ice Cream Colab // Coming to Target’s kids department + freezer section! Mark your calendar for this Sunday, June 3rd! The collection will highlight Museum of Ice Cream’s playful, pastel-hued fun! Think gummy bear graphic tees. Then July 8th, seven ice cream flavors launch. Nana Banana + Cherrylicious + Chocolate Crush + Churro Churro (OMG) + Vanillionaire AND Museum of Ice Cream’s signature flavors: Pinata + Sprinkle Pool! Just one more reason to love good ol Target!!!

FOUR – Starbucks Mercato // You guys, Starbucks stepped up their game. BIG TIME! Everyone once in a while, I grab a salad from the cold case in the morning. You know, those days were you are burnt out on leftovers for lunch? Last week my fave barista gave me a couple free Mercato item vouchers. I picked up the Za’atar Chicken & Lemon Tahini Salad + Grilled chicken & cauliflower tabbouleh. Both were so good and super different. I can’t even pick a favorite. Grab one and try it out.
