{trader joes // fall}

So, I randomly called TJ’s yesterday to see when they’d get their first shipment of pumpkins. When I heard, “they just got here” my heart skipped a beat. ha. For reals though. It’s been a hard week. Short weeks always rock my damn world. Just less days to cram the same amount of work.

I pulled up to pallets full of Cinderella pumpkins. Warty pumpkins. Tiny pumpkins. It truly made my whole day. Is that sad? Anyway, I took a stroll up and down every aisle picking up any of the fall new arrivals I could find. Since I LOVE seeing what everyone gets from TJ’s and what they’re going to make with the items, I thought fuck it – I will too 🙂 Hope it brings you some joy too. Or maybe I’m the only creep that feels pure happiness from a good Trader Joe’s haul? ha!!!

Here’s my “i really don’t need anything at Trader Joe’s” haul. That turned into $70. But you gotta snatch the fall items while you can. They sell out before you know it.

Chocolate Croissants | Not new, just a weekly purchase. I pull them out of the freezer on Thursday evening. Set them on a parchment lined baking pan over night. Then pop in the oven Friday morning. They come out of the oven looking and tasting unreal. Trader Joe’s nailed it this this one.

French Onion Focaccia Bread | We already busted this one open. And it’s a MUST. I heated it up in the oven as directed. It’s slightly divided in 4 sections, so you can pull it apart. We had ours with pasta last night. Even Bay, my “i hate onions” kid – LOVED it. It’s cheesy and the perfect amount of onion. I’m going to dip it into my trader joes tomato soup next.

Pizza Crust | Stay tuned – going to try this pizza crust tonight. One with regular red sauce pizza and the other as breadsticks. It comes in a pack of 2 crusts.

Very Chocolaty Fudge Brownies Ice Cream | Just the name makes me drool…lol. Can’t wait to dig into this dairy-free dessert.

Smoked Apple Chardonnay Chicken Sausage | Another weekly purchase. It’s our fave flavor of TJ’s chicken sausage. Sliced thin and cooked up in a pan. Served over tortellini with alfredo sauce. Bay’s signature recipe.

Pumpkin Gnocchi | Served with a sage butter sauce. Yummm!!!

Cinnamon Roll Blondie Bars | My peeps are major muffin lovers. Thinking I’ll bake these in muffin cups for them to grab in the mornings. With a cup of coffee….sounds delish!

Pumpkin Spice Organic Creamy Cashew Yogurt | The vanilla flavor of this cashew yogurt is Bay’s fave. I’m going to try this with some honey + granola sprinkled over the top.

Honeycrisp Apple Candle | Lit this candle last night and it filled our whole living room. Best $3.99 I’ve spent in a while. I have these TJ’s candles in each room of our house.

Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips | Another weekly item. Bay + Cory prefer these over takis.

Brussels Sprouts + Bacon Raviolis | Those three ingredients alone are a slam dunk. Maybe with a little pesto or alfredo sauce? With salmon? Makes my mouth water thinking about it…

ABC Bars | Last but certainly not least, Bay’s favorite bars. They’re soft + chocolaty. Really good. We also get these weekly.

And lots of pumpkins. The look on Cory’s face when he saw me walk in with them…..PRICELESS!!!

Have a great weekend!!

xoxo stacyb
