Last month I scored last minute tickets to Rachel Devaux’s book signing in Larkspur. She released a book full of her easy, laid-back, nutrient-rich recipes, Rachael’s Good Eats.. If you follow her on Instagram, then you know. Rachel was legit the sweetest influencer I’ve ever met. She took time to give each person a giant hug, ask where you came from. I told her I live for her Sugar cleanse. Which she then flipped to the page in the book – there is a 2-day sugar cleanse that I plan to try next week! Oh and Bridger, her husband then offered to take our picture with my phone. No rush, just very chill and made everyone feel so special for coming. I could go on and on….

{the perfect fall salad with Cobram Estate}

With the Fall weather we tend to go with more hearty soups + pastas. But, this girl still craves a good green salad. I’m currently hooked on arugula. It’s so pepper + delish, I can eat it daily and not get sick of it. I’m really trying to be better at sharing recipes so today felt like the perfect day to share this goody!

{frito salad}

The frito salad is not only all the colors of the rainbow, it’s PACKED with flavor.

I like to call this salad vintage…ha! It’s been around for dayyysss. And to be honest, I need to apologize to Frito Salad. Kinda forgot about it till my sis requested it for her birthday dinner.

Our family has been making this salad for as long as I can remember. You can legit add anything you like. Ground turkey. Shredded chicken. Steak. Anything goes.

Well, except for ONE thing……

You MUST use chili cheese fritos. Don’t even try to substitute that one ingredient. It’s the key to frito salad.
