Get hella steps (fitness steps, that is)
Meal Prep my heart out
Plant my new Rainbow Gold Bougainvillea to climb the brick fireplace
Bathe the stinky dogs
Focus on good sleep
Complete the Laundry Room makeover
Face mask night with Bay
Buy a shit-ton of mulch for the front yard
Take good care of myself
Put together our new Console Table (thanks Mom + Dad)

Home Sweet Home // our new happy place!

Good morning friends! In case you missed it on Instagram + Facebook…..we bought a house. I never shared here, as I was so busy with the move and all the paperwork that goes along with it. We finally got somewhat settled in and I’m ready to get back on here and share.

How was everyone’s weekend? I hope it was a GREAT Fourth of July celebration for you.

While it looked and felt different than usual, we tried to make it special anyway.

Prep for this weekends yard sale

Work in the yard
Wallpaper Bay’s room
Take some outfit photos
Wash windows
Get some Mezger Zinnias
Be better at drinking water (dehydrated AF)
Go on long walks with Charlie to scope out the new hood
Celebrate my sisters birthday

Seems like a really long time ago. Ha! All those things we put off? On the weekends I get really anxious from too much scrolling + refreshing news stories about Coronavirus. So, I’ve decided that I am focusing on what I CAN control and doing things around my house to be productive (when I get sick of scrolling + sitting on the couch + drinking).

I know it’s so tough to stay home but while we’re all here, we might as well make the most of it, right?

Weekend Plans?

Pizza tonight, always pizza on Friday nights. We’re trying Upper Crust Baking. You have to order in advance. Select a time. Then pick it up. I’ve heard it’s the BOMB, so stay tuned – I’ll report back. My photographer (aka Bailey) is going to help me shoot all my content for next week. Taking photos on weekdays gets tricky. I pay her in the form of cute tops. Getting crafty and making a succulent wreath for the 4-H Green & White Social. Going to watch my nephews play ball, if the rain holds out. Planning on taking a class at the gym too. Other than that, we are chillin.

I have not accepted the challenge just yet. 40 days is a long ass time.

That’s over a month. Close to 6 weeks. 960 hours. FML!

Bailey will, in exchange, give up Tik Tok. Which is equivalent to my shopping addiction.

So, come next Wednesday, we have to make our final decision.

Basically I’ve been scouring the internet for all the things Spring. And ALL THE THINGS I really want to pull the trigger on before this 40 day spending freeze may possibly take place.
