In other news….Bailey has challenged me to give up “online” shopping for lent. Not to be confused with shopping. Ha! I’d say 90% of my shopping is online, soooo. There’s that!

I have not accepted the challenge just yet. 40 days is a long ass time.

That’s over a month. Close to 6 weeks. 960 hours. FML!

Bailey will, in exchange, give up Tik Tok. Which is equivalent to my shopping addiction.

So, come next Wednesday, we have to make our final decision.

Basically I’ve been scouring the internet for all the things Spring. And ALL THE THINGS I really want to pull the trigger on before this 40 day spending freeze may possibly take place.

I’m all about an eclectic look.  Putting some of my favorite classic pieces together.  Mixing and matching different styles to come up with something new + unexpected.  I like to call this one casual with a touch of dressy and a side of edge.  Ha.  A little business mixed with a little casual.  Kinda reminds me of my {the mullet} #ootd from November 2016!

During my {spending freeze} (aka the worst 30-days ever) I was challenged to create new outfits with things I already had.  So, I pulled out all the classic, timeless pieces that I wear over and over.  J.Crew Blazer.  Levis.  Heels.  Then find a way to jazz it up into something new + fun without spending money.

Ladies, grab all your tanks + graphic tee’s!  Mix and match them with cardigans + blazers.  It’s such a great way to incorporate summery items while transitioning to fall.

Have you checked out the shoe department lately?  Peeps – It’s like really, really good right now!

I locked my eyes on these fringe toed + tassel tie sandals and knew they would be coming home with me!

Ginger Slide Sandals

I know you’ve seen these all over the internet.  The price tag is normally wayyy out of my range for a sandal.  Thank you Target for making an affordable version so I can keep up with the trend!  I’ve tried these black beauties wrapped around my ankle and tied in the front with the tassel dangling…so cute.  Or you can go for a more dramatic look by crisscrossing up your leg.  Also super cute.  For $23 I’m very happy with this purchase.

So, unfortunately this isn’t what I’m actually wearing today.  I know, it’s sad.  This is what I WISH I was wearing today.  Because, let’s be real….we are all so over this damn rain.  The cold weather.  Bring on some sunshine and higher temps Mother Nature.  Pretty please.  I’ve been stocking up on Spring-y pieces that I can’t wait to wear!!
