The face you make on February 15th….
when all the Valentine’s Day candy is 50% off 🍫🍭But for reals – what’s your number 1 favorite candy?
Mine has to be the seasonal Reese’s peanut butter hearts. The individually packaged ones ❤️🤤 The Easter Egg + Christmas Tree Reese’s are equally as good!
Hope you all had a killer weekend. We had the perfect little mixture of relaxing + out & about. I was 100% not ready to make shit happen this morning though. Here’s to a short week – for everyone, except me…lol!
Intentions for the Week:
- Share a Valentine’s Day GIVEAWAY
- Research Spring Break flights
- Check out the new restaurant in Winters Carboni’s Ristorante Bar & Marketplace
- Continue NOT eating dairy + gluten + drinking alcohol on weekdays
- Work on a DIY Wood Bead Garland to share with you all
- Clean out my closet (it’s getting out of hand)
- Round up my current favorite Amazon purchases
- Body scan for final Kaia 30-day Jump start program results
- Distribute 4-H shirts
- Create a new healthy recipe for the rotation
I gave up drinking on the weekdays. Which means, Friday is one of the VERY best days of the week! I waited a long time for that glass of chard!
And if you know, you know! We do pizza every Friday night. If we happen to hit Steve’s Pizza – you best believe I’m smothering my salad in their ranch + croutons!
Adding splashes of Valentine’s Day throughout the house. How sweet is this mini rose plant from Trader Joe’s? They are $3.99!
A simple Valentine’s Day table setting. Although, we’re most likely eating pizza someplace for Friday ha!
Whipped up some of my twice baked potatoes for a family BBQ! Damn – they sure hit the spot!
Watching my stud nephew, Joe play ball! Good game!
Saturday #ootd! According to my stats, 3 of you bought this top. Which makes my heart happy! Hope you girls love it as much as I do!
We took Charlie out to run errands. She visited a couple places for the very first time. And was groped by about 892 people. The Farmer’s Market, which we found out after the fact, is no longer dog friendly. Not really sure why?
We went specifically for the flowering Quince
Welcome to the family new snake plant. FYI – the plants at the Farmer Market are $10! Which is a steal for a pretty + healthy plant.
Charlie got to watch us eat lunch at Chipotle. The patio is dog friendly! And she had a blast strutting around getting loves for everyone.
We spent time at the pig barn. Gregory is quite the pain in the ass!
The new piglets are the cutest things ever. I love watching them pile up and cuddle.
Two of GG’s fave things. Chocolate + daffodils.
PSA – go visit your grandparents. It will make your day and theirs. Watching Bay + GG do snapchat filters and laugh hysterically was by far a highlight of our weekend!
Sunday morning Charlie cuddles.
When that sunshine is just right. Although it was crazy windy, the sun made it a little better.
We hit the Sac Antique Fair in search of treasures. Found this map of Lake Tahoe that I’m thinking of framing in an acrylic frame for the Cabin. I also found a new record and a hanging basket. I’ll share what I plan to do with everything.
Got some photos of Daniel for Serendipity Kids social media. There is an awesome Giveaway going on right now. 1-night stay at the new Hotel Winters. Go give them a follow and enter to win! Serendipity Kids Instagram
We ended our weekend with a family dinner. Crazy kids 🙂
Eyelet Top (30% off ) | I’ve had this top since last season. It’s such a great piece for transitioning to Spring. You can layer a jacket or cardigan.
Levis – can’t touch this (true to size) | You guys – I’m on a major Levi’s kick at the moment. I’ve added 3 new pairs and I love them all so much. I get asked a lot about sizing. These I went true to size. They are snug, but I wear them around the house for a couple of days. It helps stretch them out a bit. I’ve tried sizing up, and I’m always disappointed after a few wears.
Clogs ($35) | Stop what you’re doing right now. And order yourself a pair of sandals. They are sofa-king cute and comfy. These will be my “it” sandal for 2020. Remember last years clog?

Before I sign off….I want to wish a Very Happy Birthday to my dear friend Greta! Hope you have a great day and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead. My brain is spinning – it’s one of those weeks that comes with a giant to-do list. So much to do. So much to share.
Make it a great day.
