This is the “million dollar” picture spot at Rombauer Vineyards and out of 10 perfectly posed photos – this was by far the best.
Intentions for the Week:
- Get hella steps (fitness steps, that is)
- Meal Prep my heart out
- Plant my new Rainbow Gold Bougainvillea to climb the brick fireplace
- Bathe the stinky dogs
- Focus on good sleep
- Complete the Laundry Room makeover
- Face mask night with Bay
- Buy a shit-ton of mulch for the front yard
- Take good care of myself
- Put together our new Console Table (thanks Mom + Dad)
Highlights from the Weekend…..
We drink champagne when we’re thirsty. Thanks for the bomb ass bubbles + catch up sesh Nikki!
And you know we had Steve’s Pizza too, because FRIDAY!!!
We’re always the first to wake up. This has become out little morning routine. I stare at my phone + Charlie stares out the window.
Cory went on another fishing trip, so…..I got black paint!

So crazy what a can of paint can do. I’ve gotten so many messages asking for all the tools + tips. I’ll be sharing all the details on the door + shutter painting this week.
Meanwhile, my badass Mom + Bay did yard work. Pruned bushes. The lawn. And even planted my favorite white impatience in the front yard. I have more work to do, but this little spot makes my heart really, really happy. Thanks Mom + Dad for sponsoring + planting!
Our lender sent us a big ass surprise. This box was packed the beautiful serving dishes + kitchen goodies. If you’re looking to re-fi or buy – I highly recommend Mortgage Masters Of California.
Saturday night we celebrated to of my favorite birthday babes.
Covid Style. Even DJ Khaled was able to join us 🙂 And we got to hang in the Nelson’s new backyard they just completed.
Slow Sunday. After singing Karaoke till 1am, I had to trick myself out of a hangover. The trick is – get up early. Take Advil. Drink water. And whatever you do, don’t sit down. HA!
Meal prepped like a mo-fo. I’m back to tracking + using the Weight Watchers App. Meal prep is key to my week!
Made these breakfast bowls that I can pop in the microwave each morning. Top with with avocado and breakfast is served.
Next up lots of chopped veggies. And lunch this week is buffalo chicken bowls. So easy. So healthy. So delish!
I think Charlie got my hangover! Ha!
A spontaneous trip to Napa was such a fun surprise. My cousin posted that she was at one of our favorite restaurants last week. Sunday morning, I got an email from Open Table asking if I’d like to book a table. Cory said lets so it, and the rest is history.
Don Giovanai’s fritto misto is the most amazing thing ever. A must! I really wanted to enjoy this, but……
I was so distracted spying of Kelly Dodd sitting across the way. I even tried to meet her in the bathroom, but it didn’t work out. Cory was mortified. Ha! She was just how you’d expect. Loud. Pretty. And intoxicated!
We stopped at Restoration Hardware Yountville. If you’ve never been – put it on your Napa bucket list. The grounds are breathtaking. The private seating is beautiful. I’m still blown away. They have a wine bar, which we are sitting at here. A restaurant. And the store.
Last stop for our Chardonnay loving hearts, Rombauer.
This was right after a gal taking our photo told us (in a very serious voice) to look into each others eyes. We tried abd both started cracking up. And this outtake ended up being the best of 10 photos. If only you could see how stunning the backdrop was.
