{weekend notes}
After a week of hardly any workouts, I vow to take the bull by the horns this week. It’s on. I was so busy focusing on so many other things last week, that I didn’t take time to focus on me and what I love to do. Morning workouts are crucial. I’ve learned that it can change my entire mood and day. 5am’s are my time. The only time I’ve got to get shit done. It makes me happy!
I have food prepped and I hit this gym this morning….it’s already a good day.
FRIDAY –
My girl had her 2016 Woodland Wreckers photos ♥
We headed to the Downtown Woodland First Friday. So cool to see families lined up and down Main street shopping + eating + stopping to listen to the music. I was impressed with the turnout.
Bailey’s last GATE session focused on art. They did so many fun projects throughout the 6 weeks. The best part, they were all displayed at the May 1st Friday Art Walk.
So proud of her and all her work. The Art show was all GATE students from Woodland. It was impressive what they young elementary school students can create.

You either love it or hate it. I’m currently into the high rise craze. I believe they emphasize most figures. Feminine + chic + a little retro all in one. So easy to work into your wardrobe!!
Since purchasing a pair GAP, my new found love for GAP denim is strong. So strong, it’s all I’ve been wearing. They come in every wash + style + rise. If you haven’t purchased a pair in a while, I recommend you do. Check out all the options here.

Happy Friday!! I am doing the happy dance today because the weekend is here and detox week is over. Well, almost over. Close enough.

ONE – Bailey wanted in on the #ootd. She totally copied my {tennies + denim} outfit from yesterday. It was so cute that I had to share. You cant really tell in this photo, but her jeans are a little distressed too. And she stole one of my necklaces…lol. God I love her 🙂

When I write about clothes, it makes me so happy. Although, when I do write posts like this, they tend to get the least views. Recipes + Weekend Notes always get the most traffic over here on xoxostacyb. Truth is – I love writing about it all. This outfit is pretty much everything I swore I’d never rock. A few months ago, had you offered to pay me to wear jeans + nikes….I would have laughed and said, “no thanks.” Now it’s all over the place. Instagram, Pinterest, everywhere I look. I’ve never since last week, ever, worn tennis shoes to work. Even my co-workers think it’s weird..lol.

The Holidays just scream fair isle to me. Can you beleive I don’t own one piece? J.Crew hit it out of the park with their collection this year. Check it out here. I think this may have given me the fair isle itch.
So…I did what any girl would do. Went shopping! To my surprise, it’s rather hard to find anything, especially fair isle pieces after the Holidays. I mean the stores are sad and pathetic looking. Wiped out. Nothing at all. Which also means, spring is coming out SOON.
I snagged the only two I could find. I’m too indecisive, sometimes I need to buy and go home and then decide:)
