Tennies + Denim + Statement Necklace //
When I write about clothes, it makes me so happy. Although, when I do write posts like this, they tend to get the least views. Recipes + Weekend Notes always get the most traffic over here on xoxostacyb. Truth is – I love writing about it all. So if it’s not yo thang, come back tomorrow 🙂 I want to keep a good balance of recipes + clothes + kaia + kiddo stuff + pretty things, etc.
OK, lets get back to clothing……
So much inspiration here + here. What do you think? Are you all about it? Or Um, no thanks? I fell in love.

This outfit is pretty much everything I swore I’d never rock. A few months ago, had you offered to pay me to wear jeans + nikes….I would have laughed and said, “no thanks.” Now it’s all over the place. Instagram, Pinterest, everywhere I look. I’ve never since last week, ever, worn tennis shoes to work. Even my co-workers think it’s weird..lol.
Black Top – Old Navy Raglan-Sleeve CocoonTop for Women
- Super comfy. The fabric is really soft with a nice drape.
Denim – Gap AUTHENTIC 1969 Destructed True Skinny Jeans
- My “it” denim I posted on {friday 5} I paid full price though…it literally kills me. (40% off for cardmembers, use code: DENIM) – store wide, take advantage of it!!
Necklace – SalvajeDesigns – Beaded Bohemian Breastplate Necklace
- This was a gift from my BFF in Seattle for my Birthday. I want to wear it everyday. #obsessedmuch Thank you Stover – love you por vida:)
Nike – Air Max 90
- Just incase you missed Tuesday’s {head over heals} I will recap: Get these tennies. Your feet will love you!! PROMISE!
So so cute, right?
Are you down with it? If you are, send me pics + tag me….Lemme see!!
Kaia girls – how is detox week treating you? I have had the worst sweet tooth of my life. I’m not a sweets gal either. I stared at the cupcakes Bailey made and had to walk myself off the ledge. I would have eaten them ALL. Well, maybe not all, but definitely more than one. I went to pinterest and searched guilt free + vegan + gluten free dessert. 1,892,394 recipes came up. Then I found this gem. Once again, my homegirl Martha had a recipe that fit the bill. It’s detox friendly ladies!!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 peeled and chopped ripe frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
Puree frozen banana in food processor. Scoop and pop in the freezer for 10 minutes. Heat almonds over medium heat on the stove top for 1 to 2 minutes or until they’re golden brown. Serve ice cream with almonds sprinkled on top. BOMB! And my crazy ass sweet tooth was gone-zo!
xoxo stacyb
Love it, SB! The dessert AND the outfits. Cute!
Thanks Val 🙂
