If you don’t somewhat agree, then we can’t be friends!! This is one of the only reasons I check my emails after 5pm and the weekends. No joke! “You’re Order Has Shipped” in the subject line makes my heart go pitter patter ♥
So here’s what came in the mail a couple of weeks ago…….

#ootd #wiw
The Mullet Outfit: business on the top, party on the bottom!
For those days when you have to show up to work like you give af, but really you just wanna party.
I’m telling you, it works!
If you’re my friend, then you totally know what I mean!! Don’t pretend.

Target did it again! Got my ass! I even avoided the women’s clothing section.
Straight up beelined it for the grocery section. Then right there before my eyes….in the damn purse section, was this vest. My heart skipped a beat. Seriousness!
I tried to keep walking past, but I couldn’t. I just might possibly believe in love at first sight now?!?!
So soft.
So warm.
So comfy.
So perfect.

and I’m a total sucker for a little western flair ♥

NEVER! Didn’t our parents always teach us to find what we are good at and stick with it? Haha! It stuck, that’s for sure!! I think it’s safe to say, it’s rubbing off on my girl too. She loves a good #wiw #ootd just as much as I do.
Mom + Me look ♥

Plaid + distressed denim + chucks. A fall wardrobe staple. At least it is in our house!
Annndddd to change it up a little, Bailey wanted “knot bottoms” or as I would call it “knotted shit” or “tie-at-the-waist?” Which way sounds right? Shit, I don’t know…they all sound kinda funny.
I guess it’s a new thing? I mean, not new new. But, new to Bailey’s era. I dig the look, as long as the belly button or NO skin for that matter, is showing. We ditched all Bay’s medium size shirts this week for this reason…lol.
Pinterest has cute Knotted Shirt Inspo

I’m with Pooh…FUCK! I woke up feeling tired and uninspired. So, I’ll blog about fashion since it’s my passion…lol.
What I wore!!

Remember my Target haul last week. This Kimono made the cut. It has fringe. I love fringe. And I’m crushing on anything navy at the moment too. Open cardigan style is super easy to wear and throw over anything. I’m sure I’ll get lots of wear out of it during the fall. I tried it with a white tank, black v-neck and this grey tank. Totally dug it each way, but they grey tank stood out the most. And obvi I rock white after Labor Day 🙂
Where did this whole “No white after Labor Day” begin anyway? Well, I asked my bestie, Google and here’s where she had to say:
Back in the nineteen 00s, 10s and 20s—the summer season was bracketed by Memorial Day and Labor Day. Society flocked en masse from town house to seaside “cottage” or mountain “cabin” to escape the heat. City clothes were left behind in exchange for lighter, whiter, summer outfits. Come fall and the return to the city, summer clothes were put away and more formal city clothes donned once more. It was an age when there was a dress code for practically every occasion, and the signal to mark the change between summer resort clothes and clothing worn for the rest of the year was encapsulated in the dictum “No white after Labor Day.” And it stuck.
I say fuck it. Wear what ever you want. Wear what’s appropriate (within reason) for the weather, the season or the occasion. White is always acceptable if you ask me!!!

We got that Friday Feelin’ around here. I think we can all agree – it’s been a long week and everyone is equally ready for the weekend. Whatever you do or have planned, ENJOY!!!
It’s Friday, so you know I’ve got 5 things on my mind……
ONE – Back in January my new years resolution was to get myself back. Not just back in shape. But, back to feeling good again. Click here to read about how I got started with Kaia Fit. I’m currently 14 lbs down from those pre-BRIK photos. They scare me every time Kaia Woodland shares them on Facebook…lol. I can’t say enough about Kaia. It’s changed my life + body. I can’t thank Melika enough for getting me back here after a brief break.
Tour de Kaia BRIK begins Monday morning at 5am. I’ve got my meal plan set. Measurements + weight recorded. The next 6 week are going to be intense and I’m 100% ready!
Sooooo, in true xoxostacyb fashion – I’m going to once again share with all my readers the nitty-gritty. I’m sharing my measurements + weight with anyone in the world that wants to see. Scary AF! Embarrassing AF! I’ve found that nothing holds you more accountable than sharing the truth! Too bad we couldn’t have weighed-in before the Yolo County Fair. Ha!
After seeing the pictures I made the conscious decision to crop my face. I almost died. That’s what I look like at 5am? Haha…my poor Kaia sisters see me like this everyday and I had no idea. My pre coffee + pre shower look is all bad. #iwokeuplikethis #sorry
Measurements –
Another day another #ootd.

This top is a must ladies. And you need to get it while the gettin’s good.
An asymmetrical peplum hem gives this sophisticated top a feminine (but not too feminine) feel. It’s also crafted in a stretchy, structured knit fabric that’s perfectly fitted.
Well done J.Crew, well done!

Good new – It’s finally FRIDAY! I’m getting out of town to beat the heat (105 degrees to be exact) this weekend. Considering who I’m going with and meet up with, it’s bound to be a pretty amazing weekend. Hope you all have a fun, slighly relaxing, cool weekend too!!
5 things on my mind today……
ONE – If you follow me on Snapchat, then you saw this snap from Sunday. I can take zero credit for this dish. I did nothing to contribute. Bailey + my Mom whipped up this Italian Drunken Noodles recipe. It was so damn good. I wasn’t even hungry and devoured my whole plate in about 3 minutes. You know me, when I find/try a bomb dish – then I’m for sure going to share it with my peeps. These drunken noodles have a light, perfectly spicy flavor that I’m still thinking about. And pappardelle noodles are amazing. I have to admit, I’ve never cooked with them before and my 9-year-old has…lol. Try this recipe out and let me know if you love it as much as we did!!

TWO – Remember how I said I went baaaccckkkk to GAP? Check out these cute tops I scooped up ALL for under $15 each. Use code: HAPPY for 40% off. Gotta love a good deal. Shoot, I might even go back next week too. Just keepin it real 🙂
Thanks to GAP, we got our twinning game back on fleek!!
Bailey pointed out the other morning that we had matching outfits. We kinda love it when that happens. So, I had to write a post about it.

#twinning
A take on the popular term “winning,” it refers to identical thoughts or behavior, as well as to brilliance.Person 1: “Uh, we’re wearing the same sweater?”
Person 2: “TWINNING!!”
