Take me back to Tahoe please!

We had our final-final summer adventure last weekend.  Most peeps are celebrating their last summer hurrah this Labor Day weekend.  Unfortunately, we will be spending our 3-day weekend moving.  So. Much. To. Do!  Currently wishing I was still sitting on Pope Beach with a bud light lime in hand enjoying the 80 degree weather.  This 110 shit is for the birds.

Here’s a little recap of the highlights from our weekend……

We hit the road Friday with Ruby (Bay’s BFF) in tow.  I love these girls and their friendship ♥

IMG_2767

Pit stop at Strawberry Lodge for sodas.  First time ever (in my adult life) I haven’t sat at the bar, played Janis Joplin on the jukebox and enjoyed a coldie.

They did a boomerang cheers.  Like mother, like daughter.  Pretty sure that was Sara + I a couple of weekends ago….Ha!

The Cabin.  With mom waiting for us.

First thing first…Lake Tahoe Pizza Co. for pizza.  Pizza is kinda our Friday night thing, if you haven’t caught on yet.

IMG_2776IMG_2775

We did half cheese (borefest) + half Mean Greek.  You guys, it was BOMB.  Sundried tomatoes + sautéed spinach + feta cheese + red onions + peperoncino + chicken.  Sounds good, huh?

IMG_2777IMG_2778

Saturday morning breakfast on the deck.  Fueling for our adventure.

I had a bloody mary to calm my nerves 🙂

Along side avocado toast Carol Willis style.  I love avocado toast, but do you want to know how to make your avo toast even better?  Add crispy prosciutto.  Yes!  Carol had made this for my mom a couple of days before.  When she told me about it, I requested she show me Carol’s ways.  OMG!  It was killer.  She crisped up a couple thin slices of prosciutto on the stove then layered it up over a toasted pieces od Dave’s Killer Bread.  Try it.  And thank Carol after!

Horseback riding!!  WTF did I get myself into?  I am afraid of horses.  Horses don’t like me.  Pretty sure they can sense how uncomfortable I am.  At least, that’s what I’ve been told.  I am 35 year young, and have yet to get on a horses.  I’ve had plenty of options, but have declined every single time.

The reason we are here….Bay + Ruby are completely horse crazy.

They’ve been riding since they were 5 years old.  Look how little they are in the images below.

Then a couple of summers ago, Paige + Willy introduced Bay to Junior Rodeo.  She learned barrels + poles + roping.  Probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever seem my girl do.

She would ride out to a goat.  Jump off her horse.  With a hope in hand.  And tie up a live goat and lay it on its side.

Bay was 9 years old at the time.

I don’t think I could even do that now.

Ok, so now that you have the history you know why it was time for me to finally get on a horse.  Bailey has asked me to a million times.

I said yes.

IMG_2785IMG_2788IMG_2791IMG_2792

IMG_2796IMG_2797IMG_2798

We went for a guided trail ride in Tahoe at Camp Richardson Corral.  I can’t say tell you how great the guides + staff treated us.  They knew I was freaked the fuck out.  They got me on a horse and reassured me I would love every second of it.

Can I get an Amen for Friday!!!  I don’t know about you, but I AM SPENT!  This first week of school, Bay’s 11th birthday + the eclipes (Ha) + packing has killed me a little  Just a little, but today is Friday!  We’re hitting the road for a final-final summer adventure.  And then it’s a wrap folks.

But first I’ve got 5 things on my mind…..

ONE – Back to school // This coloring page is everything.  Bay literally finished it in 2.5 minutes.  For the first time, since she started elementary school, she told me she was too old to do her back to school coloring page.  FML!  She did it anyway.  She must have seen the look on my face.  I almost cried.  Anyway, I have saved these year after year.

She said the worst thing in her lunch was a pickle.  I find that funny, considering she LOVES pickles…lol!  What a brat.

Click below and have your kiddo fill on of these out!  It’s a keeper

TWO – I Fought The Law // Total pre-ordered this book.  It caught my eye and I’m so intrigued.  Beautiful photographs of the strangest laws from each of the 50 states.

Strange, outdated laws from each of the 50 U.S. states—some overturned, some still on the books, and some merely the stuff of legends—are depicted with sly wit by Olivia Locher. Incisive, ironic, and gorgeous, these images will appeal to art buffs and trivia fans alike. A foreword from American poet Kenneth Goldsmith and an interview with the artist by Eric Shiner, former director of the Andy Warhol Museum, contextualize rising-star Locher’s photography. From serving wine in teacups in Kansas to licking a toad in Kentucky or perming a child’s hair in Nebraska, breaking the law has never looked so good.

For instance: In California, it is illegal to ride a bike in a swimming pool.

{weekend notes}

IMG_2052

The weekend was a mix of major highs and major lows, more so than most weekends.  I just have to keep in mind that everything is going to work out…because it always does.  I’ll share more as all the kinks work themselves out.  All that said, I am excited for the week ahead.  So many things happening.

Intentions for the week:

Lets start off with a re-fresh on last weeks Intentions {weekend notes}  I certainly didn’t cross off everything, but close enough.  Here’s what I’d like to cross off this week…

  • make homemade fruit roll-ups
  • at home mani/pedi’s with Bay
  • try to only worry about the things I can control (challenging AF)
  • help Bay plan her bake sale for Saturday’s yard sale (come buy our shit, please)
  • wash car inside/out…that rain really did a doozy on my black car
  • check off a couple of items on our Summer To-Do’s list
  • complete daily fitness challenge
  • catch up with friends
  • deep clean/pack up the playroom
  • label all the yard sale shit
  • get my hair did #fairhair
  • make Italian sausage veggie bowls for lunches

And now, let’s chat about the highlights…..

Exploring the Bay //

Sunday morning around 9:30am, this was my view.

A day in the Bay….And an itinerary, duh!

On the itinerary:

  • trail under the golden gate bridge
  • walk the marina district (always makes the list)
  • lunch reservations
  • eat some kind of fresh seafood
  • swing at the top of bernal heights
  • walk in the sand
  • drink some wine
  • reminisce on haight + ashbury

IMG_1988

Pretty sure I’ve taken the exact photo every single time I drive over the Golden Gate, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one!

Did you see my post yesterday “I walked under the Golden Gate Bridge?”

You guys, it’s a real thing.  You can literally walk under this iconic bridge.  If you had to pick one bridge, one that came to mind, you’d probably pick the Golden Gate, right?  Me too!  This bridge is featured in countless movies and TV shows.  The bridge itself is used as a symbol of San Francisco.  That’s kind of a big deal!  If you’ve even walked, biked or drove across it, you’d get it.  I have personally walked (twice) driven (more than I can count), but have yet to bike it.  Guess I better throw that on the ol Bucket List!

But, walked under it?

I can put a check next to that one!

IMG_2053

You park at Crissy Fields.  Look for the Warming Hut signs.  That’s when you know that you’re close to the trail.

Follow the path to the Warming Hut.

IMG_1989

After you pass the hustle and bustle at the Warming Hut, you’ll find the trail head that leads you to this.  Isn’t it beautiful?  I was out of breath, but the view was so worth it.

Once you get to the top, the Golden Gate make an appearance.

IMG_2061

IMG_2009

You go through the creepy ass brick tunnel.  I can hear myself…”this is sooo cool”

IMG_1994

CAUTION…watch yo head.  You have to bend wayyy down to get out of the tunnel.

IMG_1999

Then you get to this!  Next time, I will have a bottle of wine and snacks.  I will sit at that table, right there.  And I will set there.  Until I can’t sit there any longer.  I have a true love for this place, I tell ya!

Under the bridge on the other side (Marin County) on the lower left side.  Wayy over there.  That’s Kirby Cove.  Another one of the most picturesque places I’ve ever been.  Amazing views from under the bridge.  Go there!  Like, today!  Or here!  Go here!

Ps..there is a tree swing there too!!

IMG_2062

Then you continue along the trail….

and you get here.

The struggle is real!  And that’s all I gotta say about this day!

Ok, first off…..

Intentions for the week:

You can read last weeks Intentions here {weekend notes}.  Once again, I sucked at tracking my food on My Fitness Pal.  This week it’s on though.  You guys, after a month off from Kaia, I start back as of August 1st….that’s tomorrow!  I’m scared and excited.  More excited, I think.  I’ve got some goals to crush!

  • September budget spreadsheet
  • Track ALL food on My Fitness Pal (I tracked till Thursday…boo)
  • Go through my closet and donate/sale clothes
  • Lay off the vino….until Friday, of course (failed MISERABLY)
  • Plan SF hike/weekend
  • Make oven roasted tomatoes
  • Prepare for garage sale (FML)
  • Make my own coffee every morning (stay out of the Starbucks drive thru)
  • Do charcoal teeth whitening and tell you all about it…lol. (back on the list)
  • Make sheet pan eggs
  • Lunch break arboretum walk (too HOT for that shit)
  • Deep clean bathroom cabinets/drawers/makeup (throw shit away)

And for some weekend highlights….

Friday //

Can’t beat jalapeno margs at the Truitt’s!  Perfect way to kick off the weekend, if you ask me!!!

IMG_1519

Saturday //

Early breakfast date with my girl ♥

Morgan’s Mill is gorgeous.  The rustic brick building.  Succulent accents.  An outdoor patio with lights strung.  Not only is the building itself easy on the eyes….they serve good coffee.  Amazing cinnamon roll waffle.  That’s mascarpone cheese on top.  Heavenly.  The gluten-free chocolate muffin was Bay’s favorite.  And remember….”she doesn’t do that gluten-free stuff”…lol.

Oh and they made her a warm caramel apple cider drink.

We’ll be back!!

Hoping to pop in on an evening and sip a glass of chard on that patio!!

IMG_1526IMG_1527

Vegas//

Strait to Vegas, that is.  Remember last September the three of us (my besties) went to see the King in Vegas?  You can read about it here {weekend notes}

Well, we decided around December that we were going back.  Who knew the Cowboy was not ever going to ride away?  And continue to release more and more concert dates.

IMG_1546

Strait to Vegas exclusive world-wide engagements have hosted 10 at capacity shows since George retired the tour bus.

The 2016 shows he played his 60 #1’s in chronological order.  He did it by playing the first 1-30 #1’s Friday night.  Then the following 31-60 #1’s Saturday (the second night).  With the addition to the can’t miss classics…..”Fool Hearted Memory” “You Look So Good In Love” and so on.

In November of 2016 he announced the sold-out series would continue through 2017.

The last 6 shows, one of which we were at Saturday night, was once again “Two Nights of Number Ones”  He changed it up a little for these remaining shows.  Still the #1’s, just not in chronological order.

He claims the 4 shows left, he will be changing up the format even more.  Man, I wish I could snag another ticket to see what he’s got in store.

  • Friday, September 1st
  • Saturday, September 2nd
  • Friday, December 8th
  • Saturday, December 9th

So, if you haven’t already seen this show, you’ve still got a chance.  And let me tell you, this is a MUST!

Will the King of Country ride away after December 9th?  That is the question.  But, damn, I’m sure hoping not!!!

IMG_1565

Some of my favorites…..

“Here For A Good Time”

“All My Exes”

“Blue Clear Sky”

This song reminds me of my homegirl Zeb ♥

And then my phone died…

It was a sad thing!

Tall cans with mom!

IMG_1699.JPG

I even bought a George tall can coozie.  T-shirt.  And playing cards.  I couldn’t help myself.

IMG_1594

George played till midnight.  We sang and danced.  The BEST concert ever!

Fremont Street Experience //

After the concert we grabbed a cab and headed for Fremont Street.  Now I understand why they call it the “experience”

It’s nothing short of a crazy ass experience.

Maybe it was the 1am time-frame?  Maybe it’s always like this.  I couldn’t tell you.

How about some highlights from the weekend?

FullSizeRender (11).jpg

Have you ever decided Friday around 6pm to take off.  I’m talking leave without a plan.  No idea where you’re going?  Just a direction.  Me either.  But, I did.  Exhilarating!

My over-planning ass was completely content too.

Waking up here was one of the highlights!  Have you ever seen a more beautiful backyard?  Me either!

IMG_1415.JPG

Leggett, Ca //

Where Hwy 1 ends and 101 begins.  Also the home of the famous Chandelier Drive-Thru Tree.

Height: 315 feet

Diameter: 21 feet

Age: 2,400 years

Travelers have been taking pictures of their vehicles inside this tree since 1937.

Pretty cool!

And worth the drive!

Wine //

We brake for wineries.  Especially wineries that look like this.  Pacific Star Winery is a nestled into a cliff side about 12 miles north of Fort Bragg.

I stole this image off the website to show you how impressive this place really is.  My iPhone pictures don’t do it enough justice.
above good

Best sign ever!

This bench was the spot.

We sat and dangled our feet.

Sipped a bottle of Pacific Star Tempranillo.

Watched the waves crash.

I could have stayed right here.  All Day!

If you’re ever in the neighborhood, please do me a huge favor….STOP here.  Drink the wine and take in the views.

Serious case of the Holiday hangover going on over here.  Butttt, it is Wednesday (HAPPY HUMP DAY)…NOT Monday, so I’ll pound Starbucks all day and keep my complaining to a minimum.

How was your 4th?  The 4th is my favorite, but I think I’ve already told you that about 381 times now!  Summertime!  I feel like we tend to live a wilder life.  Don’t you think?  Stay up later than normal.  Cut out of work early on Friday’s!  Drive with the windows down.  Wake up with golden shoulders.  Dip in the Lake.  Drink a little more.  Road trips.  Adventures!  The summer just makes me feel alive!  I am desperately trying to live in the moment and soak up these sunny days the very best I can!

Annddd, who else wants to vote for 4-day weekends, year round?

We spent the last 4 days in Tahoe at our Family cabin on South Shore.  You guys….the weather was insanely beautiful.

I live for summer weekends like these…..

Strawberry Lodge Pit Stop //

Because it’s a tradition.  Always.  Even if you’re solo.  Luckily I noticed a car when I pulled in the parking lot Friday evening 🙂  Fancy seeing them here!!!  They have the very best jukebox.  We play Janis Joplin every single time.  And the bar sings along.

IMG_0059.PNG

Bear Greetings //

We were greeted by Cinnamon the neighborhood bear.  We named him that a couple of years ago.  I think Benny did actually.  Because of his cinnamon color!  We see him every trip.

Cards on the deck //

31 is played more times that I can count.  Clearly Joe was holding a shitty hand, like I was.  I didn’t walk away with a single win!

IMG_0321

Bike Rides //

I love that they still have bike parade decor on their bikes.  Even Bay’s balloon made it all the way from Woodland.  There is a cute little park a couple of blocks up the road.  That’s where you can find these kids!

Benny Bears helmet kills me 🙂

IMG_0140

IMG_0074

My red solo cup runneth over!!  With chard!

IMG_0130

In the Kitchen //

Isn’t the kitchen always the main hub?  We cook, a lot.  Eat, alot.

Coffee out of Poop-A-Doop’s mug on the porch every morning.  One of the reasons I roll out of bed…around 8ish.  And the smell of breakfast cooking.

IMG_0154

IMG_0078

We celebrated Kissey’s Birthday.  Chicken tortilla casserole + GG’s italian green beans + tomato + avocado salad + french bread…heaven!!

IMG_0319

Bay whipped up pretzel crust brownies.  Goole it!  BOMB.com!

IMG_0311

Lunch lady making beach sandwiches.

IMG_0309

Bacon wrapped hotdogs.  There were alright.  I need to perfect them, then many I’ll post more about these dogs.

Happy Monday!  Is anyone else’s head spinning from such a fast weekend?  It was here and gone before I knew it.  From the coast to our Annual 4th of July Bike Parade, it was a good one.

Here are the highlights….

Hooky //

Bay + I played hooky Thursday.  I took a couple of days off work and Bay ditched summer camp.

Starbucks cheers to that!!!

She somehow convinced me she needed a gallon of glue.  Which means SLIME for days.  Which calls for the Slime Dance!!

Lunch date with a bacon sandwich please 🙂

IMG_9834

Loved our morning together.  We kept saying we felt like rebels for not being at school/work!!

The Coast //

I spent Thursday – Saturday along the coast.  The weather was out of this world.  You guys, I wore a jacket.  It was sunny and 70’s during the day.  Absolute perfection.

Dinner at The Broiler Steak House.  Look at that wine pour!  As soon as the server walked up with that glass of chard, I knew it was going to be a fine dinning experience.  And it was!!!

IMG_9835

Little River Inn has the cutest golf course.  Between the random deer crossing and the stunning ocean views, this is a fun 9-hole course.  With a beer in hand, of course.  It was Friday!!

IMG_9840

The second best part of being on the coast, (the beaches obvi being first) the seafood.  Abalone.  Halibut.  Salmon.  Oh and the clam chowder.

FullSizeRender (7)IMG_9849

Glass Beach //

I finally got to cross this off my to-do list.  It was worth the wait.  Did you know there are actually 3 glass beaches?  Me either…lol!

I also had to google glass beach.  Why in the hell is there glass all over the beach?  It’s broken down glass from a dump site.  Isn’t that crazy?  One of the most beautiful beaches due to garbage.  Either way it’s worth the stop!

In 1906, Fort Bragg residents established an official water dump site behind the Union Lumber Company onto what is now known as “Site 1”. Most water fronted communities had water dump sites discarding glass, appliances, and even vehicles.  Locals referred to it as “The Dumps.” Fires were often lit to reduce the size of the trash pile.

Various cleanup programs were undertaken through the years to correct the damage. Over the next several decades, what was biodegradable in the dump sites simply degraded and all the metal and other items were eventually removed and sold as scrap or used in art.

The pounding waves broke down the glass and pottery and tumbled those pieces into the small, smooth, colored pieces that often become jewelry quality and that cover Glass Beach and the other two glass beaches (former dump sites) in Fort Bragg

IMG_9855IMG_9851IMG_9861IMG_9866

I broke the law, I think?  I couldn’t help but take a couple pretty souvenirs.

IMG_9863

Bike Parade //

Sunday we celebrated our 8th Annual Bike Parade.  Lots of kids.  Lots of bikes.  Lots of donuts.  Lots of beer.  Lot of balloons.  Lots of laughs.

Happy Tuesday!  The weekend flew by, as usual.  But, also as usual, it was a good one!  I truly believe that time spent sitting on a beach (especially by the ocean ) is good for the soul!

I woke up Monday so rested and relaxed for the week.  How about you?

Friday night at the Truitt’s // Sarah never disappoints in the kitchen.  She made these mini pizzas with all the toppings + sauces you can imagine.  It was kinda like our very own personal MOD Pizza…lol.  Not pictured is the gallons of La Crema we also consumed….Ha.

Saturday morning we hit the road for our annual Stinson Beach trip.  Stinson Beach’s white sand oceanfront is one of Northern California’s best kept secrets.  Well, not really a secret.  I can’t tell you how many people ask me where it is or tell me they’ve never heard of this hidden gem.  There’s something about the relaxed easy beach town vibe that keeps be coming back year after year.  Don’t let the windy ocean view drive up HWY 1 scare you…it’s worth it!  Just watch out for the crazy ass bikers and you’ll be good.

We showed up a little early and our cabins weren’t quite ready for us.  So, in true Woodland form….we has a parking lot party.  Beach chairs were set up.  Beer bottles popping.  Kids running around.  Snacks on the tailgate.  We made ourselves right at home ♥

img_5625

We booked the Sandpiper Inn for our 4th year in a row.  This place is located in the heart of the charming little beach town.  Best part…it’s about a 2 minute walk to the beach.  You can hear the waves crashing from the Sandpiper.  It’s pretty rad.

Here is our Cottage that we rented again this year.  Isn’t she pretty.  So photogenic, right?

img_5618

These two cute cabins off the left are the Fricke’s + my parent’s places for the night.  They all come with kitchenette + bathrooms + sleep 4-8 people.  It’s a perfect little place to lay your head for the night.  Shit, I could stay a week and be completely content.

img_5619

Here’s a look at the inside of the Cottage that I rented with my sister and her family.  3 adults + 3 kids.  We could have fit a few more too.

That cowhide rug has my name all over it!!

9064a0_ff72b5a3a2b047b38dc27ef7b19cd0ba

Isn’t this kitchen adorable?  It has everything you need to prepare dinner for a group.  Trust me, I’ve done it a time or two.

9064a0_522ed507a5914fb887e7328f1f9ad7d3

The sleeping accommodations aren’t too shabby either.

Then we hit the beach.  Stinson beach is a 1 1/2 mile long white sand beach.  These kids were ready!

F a r i d a y y y y a y!!!  We made it though the week peeps!  The weekend has arrived!  I had such a hard time getting into the groove of things this week.  But of course, today, FRIDAY, I’m finally feeling it!  I think I just naturally perk up when I know I’m on my way to a good weekend!  The first week of Spring was kind of a flop, so here’s to hoping we get some much-needed sunshine for week #2 of Spring!  Fingers crossed!

In true Friday fashion…..I’ve got 5 things on my mind:

ONE – Baked eggs with roasted veggies // When Eat Yourself Skinny posted the image of her baked eggs, I literally drooled.  I love eggs.  Like if I was stuck on a deserted island I would take chickens and a frying pan.  And my stove and everything else.  Ha..scratch that.  I LOVE eggs.  I even eat them twice a day sometimes.  Hard boiled….Yummm!  But, an over easy egg is my boo!  This is seriously the easiest recipe ever too!

IMG_5602

I followed her method a little.  I already had roasted sweet potatoes…you will always, ALWAYS find roasted sweet potatoes in my fridge.  They are kinda like eggs to me.  Almost.  I already had roasted broccoli too.  Score.  I thew my already roasted veggies in a baking dish.  Topped with some sliced red onion and stuck in the oven while it preheated to 375 degrees.  I let the veggies warm up for about 5 minutes (maybe less) while I got my eggs and feta ready.  I cracked each egg separately in a little ramekin dish.   Then I slipped the egg right over the top of the veggies.  I only did two eggs this time.  I usually don’t do leftover eggs.  EVER!  And God knows I don’t waste eggs either.  This was an experiment.  Stuck the eggs over veggies back in the oven for 5 minutes.  I then crumbled feta over the top…yummm!  These are some of my favorite ingredients peeps!  Stuck the dish back in the oven for 6 minutes.  I like my eggs over easy and this was the perfect amount of time.  Topped with some fresh ground pepper and some Tap-Your-Uncle (tapatio) and killed 1/2 of this dish.  I saved the leftovers for this morning and I’m happy to report…I can now do leftover eggs!  High-Five!  Please try this recipe!  It is killer!  It is filling!  And it tastes so damn good too!

TWO – Hair stuff // I’ll admit, I’m not a big hair styling product gal.  I feel like it tends to weigh down my locks.  I kept reading about this L’Oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray product and how it really does what it says.  For a drug store product with a $3.99 price tag, I decided to give it a shot.

How to use: Apply to clean damp hair.  Spray evenly 6 inches away from hair.  Blow dry as usual.

Our lightweight primer formula accelerates your routine by cutting blow dry time while protecting hair from heat damage.

The verdict:

It fucking works!

It smells amazing

My hair feel so silky smooth

It doesn’t weigh my hair down at all

Winner Winner!

Get some, try it out and let me know what you think!

THREE – Bunny Bags // I had some questions about the Bay’s Instagram Bunny Bag dance and where I found the bags.  If you look closely, you’ll see the red target in the background.  Target Dollar spot for the Bunny Bag score.  They are actually $3.00 each though.  The adorable canvas tote is totally worth it.  They do sell out quick, so make you’re next Target trip sooner than later if you need these in your life too.  Last year on our Stinson Beach trip we did an egg hunt on the beach and each of the kids used a bunny bag.  It was also a week from Easter.  So it kinda made since.  I’ve created a tradition monster…Ha.  Bay insisted we have to keep the tradition alive.  So, I scooped up the bunny bags and eggs are filled for our annual easter egg hunt on the beach….3 weeks away, no big deal.  LOL!  Beach goers are going to think we are crazy.  And I kinda love it.

Hello Monday!

Remember I told you Friday that I was headed to San Diego to celebrate one of my girlfriends becoming a Mama?  We had the best weekend.

Sunshine + Friends!  Just what was needed!!

Here are some of the many highlights from the weekend….

Sarah + I flew out of Sac early.  Like we were out of the house by 5am early.

The plus is landing early and having a FULL beautiful day in San Diego!

Sunshine happened too!  LOTS of sunshine.  I’m a firm believer that sunshine is good for the soul!

Sarah let us sit in on an ultra sound.  We got to listen to the babies heartbeat ♥  This was by far one of the TOP highlights of the weekend.

Sarah’s Baby Girl!  Not mine…lol.  It never crossed my mind when I posted this image on Instagram that peeps would think I was announcing my pregnancy…Noooo!

Hotel Del Coronado // Sarah text us Thursday and told us she had a surprise.  We needed to dust off the bikini’s for a pool day at the Hotel Del!

One of Sarah’s clients did the sweetest things ever for the Mom to be!  She sent us to the Hotel’s private pool/bar for a day on her.  For reals!

Not to mention it was the most beautiful day.  The sun was shining and it was 85 degrees.  I scored my first REAL suntan of the year.  We all did!

I cant even begin to explain how amazing the day was.  You literally had to be there to understand.

Mai Tai’s were flowing……
