{spring shoes}

I got 99 problems, but shoes aint one! In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve added a couple new pairs of kicks to the family. First, I pulled the trigger on the Free People Mont Blanc Sandals. Which I scored for $50. It was one of those good ol meant to be moments. They were the ONLY pair left. And just so happened to be in my exact size. Meant to be, right? Then last week the Strappy Clog Sandal that I’ve had my eye on, went on maj sale. I’m talking more than 60% off. It was love at first sight.

To be 100% honest though, shoes are not my weakness. I’m rather picky when it comes to shoes.

1 – because they are typically an investment

2 – when I find a pair of shoes I LOVE, it’s all I will wear

3 – they have to be comfy AF…I don’t mess around

Now fun, cute tops + jeans…..they are for sure the thing I can’t say no to.

With these two new recent additions, I’d say my shoe game is on point for the summer. I will run these puppies into the ground.

And just to set the record straight……having my photo taken while in public will NEVER, ever not feel super awkward. Like, what did I have my eye on in that bush? And this one here. Doesn’t it look like I’m about to knock someone out with my fist?

This past weekend marked the (un)official start of Summer! Although, the weather didn’t quit cooperate. So I thought it would be fun to round up my top picks for summery shoes. From heels to simple slides and some fun sandals. Even through in a couple pairs of sneakers too.

Heels + Wedges //

I’m tall (5’8), so you don’t see me wearing very high heels. Love a good wedge and these clogs are my absolute favorite to wear with jeans and dresses right now. They are super comfy and I feel cool when I wear them….lol.

Sandals //

I added my classics, TB Miller Sandals + My newest FP Mont Blanc sandals, which I’ve worn every day since I scored them. Even in Tahoe when it was snowing, for reals! Added some other fun Free People options along with Madewell staples.

Slides //

Slides are all the rage and I’m here for it. They are comfy and easy. They go with everything in your closet. From ruffled to studded and even leopard, I found so really great pairs.

Sneakers //

I’m not a big sneaker girl, but I really am trying to incorporate them more. I LOVE seeing them paired with skirts. So, so cute!

Outfit Details //

Dress – Fell in love with this dress after seeing it on Target does it again Instagram a few weeks ago. It’s been going in and out of stock, so if you’re also into it, grab it soon!

Denim Jacket (on sale) – The best denim jacket ever is now on sale for $65! That’s more than 50% off!

Clogs (on sale) – And of course my clogs, they’re on sale too and come in black. I posted them over the weekend and I saw a couple of you already pulled the trigger on them – you gotta let me know what you think! They are true to size for those asking.

Bracelet (on sale) – This bracelet I’ve been rocking for over 5 years. It’s so fun and makes any outfit feel a little more dressy. It’s on sale….I paid full price for it back in the day. Back before J.Crew had promos daily.
