{sick outfit…literally}

You guys, I’m officially sick.

The cold finally hit me.  I’ve been fighting it for over a week.

I have a rule for sick days…..

Don’t dress like you feel.  Wear something cozy, but make sure it’s cute.

Is it just me, or can a cute outfit make you feel a little better?  Just a little?

If I wore a hoodie and leggings to work (which I’ve never in my life done) I would probably just surrender.  Lay my head on my desk and give up.

I will survive.  Because I have a cute cozy sweater on.  My favorite slide on sneakers.  And of course, jeans.

I found this sweater at Target last week.  Remember my insta stories?  Yep, that one.  It’s not your everyday grey sweater that you probably already have 3 of in your closet.  The crew-style sweater with a single shoulder cut out.  Tied with a cute little bow on top.  It’s like the cherry on the top!

Plus it’s beyonddd super comfy.

I tied mine bow a tighter.  That way I could cover my bra strap.  Although I totally dig the looser tied look on the Target model.   This ol girl was not about to put on a strapless bra this morning.  So we had to compromise.

I ordered these Levi’s from Zappos back in October and they are in my weekly denim rotation.  Not all jeans are treated equally in my closet.  These are good.  And $39!  Always free next day shipping (and returns) too.  So, if you’ve been wanting to try our a pair of Levi’s…. DO IT!  Put them on your Christmas list.

 

VANS Classic Sneaker

I wanted a pair of these classics for such a long time.  These iconic skater sneakers will never go out of style.  Remember Fast Time at Ridgemont High?  Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) the slacker party dude.  He put these checkered slip-ons on the map.   And I get it…..they are seriously my go-to comfy shoe.  And they slide on.  They’re fun.  And go with a lot more than you would expect.  And they’re $36 at Nordy’s.  And you should get a pair.  And….I could go on 🙂

My outfit would have been borderline boring without these bad boys!

 

Ok, I gotta go and complain about how shitty I feel.
