{friday 5}

We got that Friday Feelin’ around here.  I think we can all agree – it’s been a long week and everyone is equally ready for the weekend.  Whatever you do or have planned, ENJOY!!!

It’s Friday, so you know I’ve got 5 things on my mind……

ONE – Back in January my new years resolution was to get myself back.  Not just back in shape.  But, back to feeling good again.  Click here to read about how I got started with Kaia Fit.  I’m currently 14 lbs down from those pre-BRIK photos.  They scare me every time Kaia Woodland shares them on Facebook…lol.  I can’t say enough about Kaia.  It’s changed my life + body.  I can’t thank Melika enough for getting me back here after a brief break.

Tour de Kaia BRIK begins Monday morning at 5am.  I’ve got my meal plan set.  Measurements + weight recorded.  The next 6 week are going to be intense and I’m 100% ready!

Sooooo, in true xoxostacyb fashion – I’m going to once again share with all my readers the nitty-gritty.  I’m sharing my measurements + weight with anyone in the world that wants to see.  Scary AF!  Embarrassing AF!  I’ve found that nothing holds you more accountable than sharing the truth!  Too bad we couldn’t have weighed-in before the Yolo County Fair.  Ha!

After seeing the pictures I made the conscious decision to crop my face.  I almost died.  That’s what I look like at 5am?  Haha…my poor Kaia sisters see me like this everyday and I had no idea.  My pre coffee + pre shower look is all bad. #iwokeuplikethis #sorry

Measurements –

Weight: 152.8

Body Fat: 24.7%

BMI: 23.1

Waist: 33 inches

Click here to see my pre-BRIK measurements from January.   My body fat alone is down 6%.  It is absolutely amazing to see the numbers change.  Sometimes the scale doesn’t do enough justice.

I will be documenting the next 6 weeks and my post-BRIK results too.

TWO –  You know my obsession with GAP denim.  Well, it just got better.  Check out the jeans I bought Bailey this week.  They are so damn cute.  Especially on her.  GAP jeans just fit better than most.  Have you heard of their new Superdenim?  Superdenim comes with stretch fibers for extra flexibility, all day comfort and long-lasting fit.  GAP Davis didn’t have the new Women’s denim out yet, but you better believe I will be stalking them till they do.  And I will of course let you all know too.  I see a Mom + Daughter #ootd in our future.  Also, did you know that if GAP.com has an online only offer going, GAP stores will honor it?  You just have to show them on your phone and they will give you that price.  That’s how I grabbed these for $21.  Regularly $44.95.  Now through Sunday you can use the following codes and score some good deals too.

35% off your purchase using code: EVENT

40% off for cardmembers using code: CARD40

THREE – For the first time in my 10 years of motherhood, I purchased store-bought treats for Bailey’s classroom birthday celebration.  I know it sounds silly, but this is so out of character for me.  I’m that mom that stays up scouring Pinterest for the coolest cupcake topper.  Best cookie recipe.  Homemade frosting.  Cutest cupcake liners.  Then spends too much $$ and time whipping up these over the top treats.  Well, this time I asked Bailey what she wanted to take.  Her response was, “homemade brownies.”  Ok, not too bad.  I got this.  Remember her birthday was the 2nd day of school.  I mean, the first week of school is basically a shit show, right?  Between the 100 sheets of parent homework, early bedtimes, mastering the routine.  When I showed her what Raley’s bakery had to offer….to my surprise.  Bailey was pumped.  She was ecstatic to take a store bought treat.  Haha.  All these years of busting my ass for nothing.  Only kidding.  I truly believe it’s because we’ve never done it before.  It made it sooo cool.  Lesson learned – buy the store bought shit and your kids will be just as happy.  Look at that smile below, she’s not even tripping over those brownies in the Raley’s container.  She was proud!

FOURGlitter Guide’s 10 Things you NEED from Target!  I’m sharing this because I basically think they killed it on this shopping guide.  I had to look with my own eyes….and I can vouch, every single item below is legit.  I spent a lunch break at Target convincing myself that I didn’t need EVERYTHING!  It didn’t work.
