It’s just another manic Monday
Wish it was Sunday
Cause that’s my funday
Back to the grind! I like to start Monday’s thinking of 3 things I’m looking forward to during the week. Little or small.

What are you looking forward to this week?

- get all my new plants in the ground
- work on some new recipes
- organize the junk drawer
- put together a simple Trader Joe’s flower arrangement
- reservations at Barrel House Tavern
- make 1 point weight watchers cookies #sweettooth
- gather ingredients for a char-kid-erie
- pack for the beach
This week on the blog: Easter table setting. Spring To-Do’s. Easter #ootd’s.
Highlights from the weekend……
You’re never going to guess what Cory + I did Friday evening…

Symposium in Davis is legit. Cory took me for the first time a few years ago and I fell in love with this little hidden gem. Amazing Greek food. And that pizza right there was divine! Bill Clinton and Arnold Schwarzenegger have dined at this place…..just a tid bit I thought you should know…lol.

Early morning pig feedings. The barn view though

Homemade brunch. The only thing that could have made this better……
A glass of champagne. Or a glass of wine. A beer even.

Saturday stroll with my Mom. Dying over the blooming trees on our weekend trail.

I dropped these pretty girls off at the movie theater. Their first solo (no parents) movie. It was so weird driving away and leaving them there. But, they did great and LOVED the movie, 5 Feet Apart. Brooklyn got the pleasure if meeting the barn pigs too.

We made it to church for the 4th weekend in a row. It’s becoming our Saturday evening “thing” And we filled up an entire pew with cousins and friends.

I made turkey burgers for dinner. They turned out so good. I got thumbs up from 4 people, so I’ll be sharing this one soon!

Wild Saturday night playing 31 and Spoons.

When you wake up at 5:30 am, you just have more time for extra cups of coffee in PJ’s.

And online shopping. Select Target sandals are BOGO 50% off! I rounded up some of my top picks….

I hit the Walmart garden section. I was pleasantly surprised at all the great deals and beautiful flowers. I came home with this gorgeous ground cover. $14 for this whole flat. It’s like a sheet.

I also picked up my favorite Miracle-Gro. This $9 wood plant stand. And my all time fave…white impatiens, which were on clearance for $1.88/per six pack.
Met my girl Nikki and walked the Davis Arboretum. Beautiful day! I can’t wait to go back next month when everything is in bloom.

The trumpet vine stopped me dead in my tracks.

Stopped at Trader Joe’s to pick up a bag of these new elote corn chips. As Nikki put it, “these are next level.” Even Bay agreed. You really don’t even need to dip them.

We supported Andee’s soccer team bake sale. I 100% ate a rice crispy treat! It’s for the kids 🙂

Got a sneak peek inside Karen of Serendipity Boutique’s home. LOVE all her Spring touches.

Bay got to practice with the actual Dymanix volleyball team at her camp yesterday. #happygirl

We spent a lot of time at the pig barn. These dudes get weighed today and Bay and I have placed our bets on their gains. We’ll see who wins.

Posts like this make me smile….BIG!

The {giveaway} winner was announced. BIG thank you for entering. I’ll do another one soon! Congrats Elissa! I hope you love your new wreath.

Cory cooked Sunday dinner. My request…something healthy. He killed it. BBQ chicken + zucchini + rice.

Our Monday started at the barn at 7am today. Luckily it’s beautiful.

And this mornings sale finds are REAL, REAL good! 50% off select items at Urban Outfitters. Everything it linked below!

Hope you all had a stellar weekend. I’m ready to roll with the Monday punches!
