And Happy Friday, my sweet friends! Today I’m excited to share my Men’s Gift Guide. This had been, by far, the most requested. It got me thinking…..

As Women, I feel that we tend to shop mainly for ourselves + kiddos. Am I right? I realized the only time I’m shopping for the men in our lives, are Christmas. Father’s Day. And Birthday’s.

So, I recruited Cory to help me. Technically he said he liked everything, but it felt like most of these items were higher price points. Agreed! When we only shop for the dudes a couple of times a year – don’t you want the good shit? Ha!

It’s officially that time of year of year again and I’m so excited about it!  In previous years, I’ve thought the Christmas music was playing a little too early or Thanksgiving felt like it was being overlooked, but this year – I’m here for it.

{gift guide: father’s day}

Father’s Day is right around the corner. I’m talking 10 days ladies. I swear, Father’s Day sneaks up on me every year. And I think we can all agree…..Men are either the easiest to buy for or the very hardest? Am I right? Like, there is NO in between. So, we better hop to it!

Sometimes we overthink things. Don’t stress. It’s not all about the fancy gifts. Sometimes it’s just the thought of planning some quality time. A little extra effort. Especially when it comes from the kiddos. I’m sharing some ideas on how to make Father’s Day extra special.

Plan one of his favorite activities //

Whether you go out to his fave brunch or dinner spot. Maybe the golf course or Top Golf to hit some golf balls. The lake for a day on the water. The local brewery for some beers. Does he like going to the movies? Grab all his top candy + snacks and head to the show. Or the store he loves to shop at. Whatever it is – makes reservations and arrangements ahead of time. That way you can just go and have fun!

Plan a BBQ or brunch //

Pick his number one meal. Breakfast. Brunch. BBQ. Whatever it is….grocery shop and have it all prepped. Have the kids set the table. How cute are they necktie napkins? Super easy to do. I’ll share the DIY below. These menus are the perfect touch. They are customizable do you can add anything you’d like.

{easter basket ideas}

I LOVE Easter time. Well, I love all Holidays. We have so many fun Easter traditions, which makes this Holiday so fun. I always fill Bay’s basket with all the things summer time. New swimsuit. Beach towel. Goggles. Cute floatie. I pretty much follow what my parents did when I was a kid. Always a swimsuit and saltwater sandals. Oh and lots of candy. You can’t forget the candy! It’s like a Christmas stocking, but with summer stuff. All the fun little goodies.

I used to be able to post all my goodies here, but now I have a tween that likes to read my blog and look at all my photos. And since I want her to be somewhat surprised, I’m going to save her exact basket for Easter morning. I’m sharing all kinds of ideas. Some are in her basket this year. Some I’ve used in previous years. I even got extra and did a boy basket too!

I try to think of things she’s going to need as summer approaches and Spring break rolls around.

{stocking stuffers}

Anyone else leave stocking stuffers for last?  Every.Single.Time!  Then run around like a chicken with its head chopped off looking for all the things….in all the picked over + over crowded stores?

Me too!!!

And we get zero credit for all the damn hustle.  You’re welcome, Santa!

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news…..you’ve officially got 6 days to make shit happen.  Runnn!

Step #1: stick a bottle of chardonnay in the fridge.

Step #2: order everything possible thing you can on Target.com for an in-store pick-up #lifesaver

Step #3: when all else fails….buy lots + lots of candy.  I’ve never heard a kid complain about sweets.

Step #4: drink that chardonnay and give yourself a pat on the back!
