{weekend notes}

Just another Magic Monday. Switching it up. Moday’s don’t have to be manic. Let’s make them magic. What do you think? After a full 7 hours of sleep last night (which I never, ever get) I did NOT wake up refreshed and ready for the day. But, instead of thinking about how shitty today could be. I’m turning it around and thinking of all the ways it can me magic. I know, sounds corny, but my mind + heart can make or break my day. So, this is working for me….so far!

This past weekend was sprinkled with a healthy dose of family + friends + sunshine + relaxation. It was pretty damn good!

Intentions for the Week:

stay on track with Weight Watchers
watch my girls first volleyball game of the season
celebrate my Mom’s birthday
finish decorating for Fall
shoot some new outfits for the blog
purge all my Fall decor
make it to the gym, no matter what
actually start a mini reset…and not just talk about it
try a tortellini soup
plan a Napa day-date with Cory
watch Jenny get married
complement someone different everyday

Highlights from the Weekend……

Friday was the 1st Lee Middle School dance of the year. Watched this pretty girls get ready together.

While the girls did the “Get Down” at the dance. I went to Serendipity Boutique’s 3 year Anniversary party. Can we take a moment for that cake.

Roxie’s Flower Truck was parked out front full of the pretty blooms. Such a fun idea. You pick out your stems, they throw together an arrangement for you. Literally takes minutes and you’ve got the pretty flowers.

The newest boutique Jami Ray officially opened. And between them and Bella Moda, we’ve got some really good women’s clothing in town now. So excited to shop these local stores!!!

Current Coffee Table! Obsessed with Chloe & Co Golden Moss scent. It’s so masculine and delicious.

Whipped up Baked French Toast Sticks for the sleeping beauties. I’ll be sure to get this recipe up on the blog soon!

Even Door Dahed Taco bell to the pool. LOL! Mom + I got a little tips and it sounded really good!

Set the table for some very special dinner guests. GG + Lynne (her caregiver)

The skull hand made another appearance. Oh and the Trader Joe’s Vegan Ranch Dip is legit. Everyone loved it!

We finally made it to Church. With GG + Lynne too! I love watching everyone greet GG! She used to be there every week. Not we try and drag her to church a few times a year.

I made my {asian turkey + green beans} for dinner. It was a hit! Subbed peanuts for the sesame seeds and everyone loved it.

Served it along side this new Leafy Greens with Butternut Squash salad from Trader Joe’s. You guys – get this salad. It’s so delish and your guests would never even guess it came out of a bag

GG loves her dessert! We opened up the Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Cheesecake. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it. I, on the other hand, did not. It did nothing for me. It’s also 17 WW points per serving…which is CRAZY!!!
