{valentine’s day #ootd + bay’s cookie recipe}
I had too! Happy Valentine’s Day friends! I hope you started your day off with some kind of sweet heart-shaped treat. I had and egg and avocado..lol. Totally didn’t plan a V-day breakfast for Bay. To be honest it slipped my mind. Who am I? I stuck a couple Eggo waffles in the toaster. Used a heart cookie cutter. Whipped cream + sprinkles + a cherry on top (Bay doesn’t do cherries BTW). She loved it anyway! I did have a super cute lunch with heart pepperoni planned, but Lent screwed up that idea. So we went with heart quesadillas instead.
Speaking of lent…..

Bay + I are still undecided. Decisions, decisions!

Camo + stripes! The first time I’ve rocked this combo, and def not the last. I was super unsure about mixing a print + stripe. A little out of my comfort zone. But I LOVED it. And to be quit honest, this has been my EVERY weekend wear outfit since Christmas. Shit you not.

Buy the damn shoes! That is, if you can get your hands on them…..
This trendy classic was hard to get my hands on. Every single LIKEtoKNOW.it email I got said the same damn thing: SOLD OUT! I called Nordy’s probably 5 times in the last month: “sorry ma’am, we don’t have them in your size!” The struggle was real.
So, I did what any “normal” person would do….googled the shit out of them. Then found a blogger that said she bought them in Big Kid sizes. What? I then googled the Adidas size chart. Who know a kids size 7 is the same as a woman’s size 8? And guess what? They were available. Hallelujah!! Plus kids sizes are $10-$20 cheaper too. Whoop Whoop! Best part, I got them with my Mother’s Day Nordy’s gift card. Thank you Cory ♥
