Recently we’ve become BIG burger fans at our house. Not that we weren’t down with them before. Honestly, I just didn’t really make burgers all that often. And when I did, I would grab the pre-made burgers from the meat department.
And let’s keep it real, they aren’t even close to as delicious as a handmade, homemade burger.
Maybe it’s summertime and I just wanna grill everything. Or air fry. The air fryer is another summer lifesaver. But, I’ve been experimenting with all kinds of different burger recipes. I love that you can enjoy them the traditional way. Ya know, with a bun and all the condiments. Lettuce wrapped, my personal favorite. Open-faced. Over a salad. Or, as of recent, in a crunch wrap. Here’s my basic crunch wrap recipe that can be used for any type of crunch wrap: {the crunch wrap}

A few weeks back, we tried 4 of the frozen Trader Joe’s Burgers too. Every single time I post about Trader Joe’s the question I always get asked: “what’s your fave frozen burger?” We tasted them all. We rated them and we came up with the TJ’s #1 frozen burger. We’ll chat more about that next week when I spill the tea on all the newer TJ’s items we’ve tried lately.
Anyway, I love anything Greek. Tomatoes. Feta cheese. Tzatziki….yumm! Greek food is just loaded with flavor, yet simple fresh ingredients. Just like these burgers. They are healthy and packed with a punch. This is not a boring dry turkey burger.
These burgers are healthy AF too! 2 Weight Watchers points for 1 burger or 2 sliders. That’s even including the sauce.
This is where I insert my Weight Watchers spiel…….
I wrote a post explaining the in’s & out’s of the program here: {weight watchers 1 week results}

I really, truly believe that Weight Watchers is an amazing program!

I picked up most of the ingredients at good ol Tarder Joe’s. The mini buns are perfect for sliders. The only place I can find the Chobani squeeze greek yogurt is Walmart. I know most peeps don’t like to brave the aisles of Wally World, but this greek yogurt is worth it. Zero Weight Watchers points for 2 tablespoons! You can’t beat it.
I keep it simple when it comes to making burgers. Throw everything in a big ass bowl. Roll your sleeves up. And dig in with your hands. It’s the easiest way to make burgers.

{greek turkey burgers

Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed, drained & roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup feta cheese
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- salt + pepper
- 3/4 cup greek yogurt (I love Chobani low-fat squeeze greek yogurt)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
Here’s what you’ll do:
To prepare healthy Tzatziki sauce – combine greek yogurt + lemon juice + dill + pinch of salt + pepper. Place in the fridge till ready to serve.
To prepare burgers – In a large bowl combine remaining ingredient using your hands.
Shape into patties. For sliders, you should get 8. Or regular burgers, 4 patties.
Place patties in the fridge for about 20 minutes. This helps the burgers keep shape.
Cook burgers on a grill or grill pan. About 5 minutes per side till cooked through.
Spread tzatziki sauce over burgers. Top with your favorite burgers toppings and enjoy!

I served our greek slidders along side asparagus + tater tots cooked in the air fryer! I swear it’s one of the best kitchen gadgets ever! Skinny Taste just came out with a new cook book dedicated to the air fryer and I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy! It’s all healthy dishes prepared strictly in the air fryer.
