PIZZA!
Get ready for a creepy crawly Halloween treat!
Mini pizzas + spiders just scream Halloween! Ha! These simple festive pizzas are perfect for serving all the little ghosts + goblins on Halloween night. Before they load up on all the candy. And I love to play with food. So it’s a win-win! I like to call it Holiday food art. Sounds good, don’t you think? #holidaywhore
I make english muffin pizzas for pretty much every Holiday. I’ve made Christmas pizzas. Heart shaped pepperoni for Valentine’s Day. One Halloween I made Jack-O-Lantern faces out of olives.
Fun + delicious way to get in the Holiday spirit!!!
Not only are these pizzas easy to jazz up for the Holidays. They are easy to prepare….period. 4 ingredients. Done!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- english muffins, split in half
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can whole olives
Here’s what you do:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheet with foil.
Place english muffins on the cookie sheet.
Top with 2 tablespoons marinara sauce.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake pizzas till cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
In the meantime, slice 6 olives lengthwise into halves to make the spider bodies. Slice several more olives into slivers to make legs.
Remove pizzas from the oven and arrange a spider olive body + 8 legs on each pizza.
(You need 8 legs or it’s not an arachnid. You can’t have a 6 legged spider. Just saying.)
Clearly Bay and I had this conversation during the making!!!
Pop spider pizzas back in the oven and broil for 3 minutes. Cheese will become bubbly + golden.
Allow to cool and enjoy!!
You know what would be even easier? How about ordering a Papa Murphy’s Pizza and topping it with spider olives? Even their jack-o-lantern pizza would be super cute with spiders crawling all over it!!
