Dear Santa,

The tree isn’t the only thing getting lit this year! #sorrynotsorry

HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!!!

As I typed the title, I thought – what a random post! Truth is, I’ve got so much to share and so little time. So we’re tag teaming these posts with all the things. Food + outfits! Why not?

Let’s start with why I LOVE all black outfits……

Slimming AF | I think we’re all down with anything to look a little slimmer, right? Black makes any figure, shape and size – look longer and leaner. And it’s so sleek!

Easy AF | By far the easiest color to dress up or dress down. Black jeans with a t-shirt and sneakers by day. Swap out with a heel + blazer and you’re instantly dressed up! Having great basics like this in my closet are a MUST!

Accessorize AF | Black is basically a blank canvas. So anything goes. You can always keep it simple with jewelry. Or bust out all the bright + fun pieces and let the jewelry be the statement. Add a leopard belt. Or a bright scarf.

Classic AF | It’s one of the most classic colors in your closet. Black will NEVER go out of style! When you dress in classic colors + pieces you will instantly look + feel put together with little effort.

Black outfit and now chili….I just can’t with myself. Ha!

I threw together a new chili recipe and it was BOMB.COM! I forget about chili. Then I make a big pot and think, why in the hell don’t I make this more often? This one is super easy, healthy and delish!

Toppings are so key. They can make or break a recipe. Am I right? The more toppings the more better.

We used sliced avocado + cilantro + green onion + shredded cheese + a dollop of daisy!

And I love that this recipe can be made in a pinch. Or slow cooked all damn day! To be honest, I love the slow cooker best for this recipe. Key – leave your slow cooker in the garage so your house doesn’t stink for 862 days.

That right there is a big ass bowl of goodness!

Someone messaged me the other day and asked about my marble counter tops. I die a little each time I get one of those. Remember the story about my counter tops? You can read about it here: {things I’m afraid to tell you}

Remember, you can now print the recipe.  “Pin” to your Pinterest board for safe keeping.  If you decide to give it a shot, pretty please – tag me.  Text me.  I can’t wait to hear what you think!!  100% makes my day ♥

Holiday outfit idea! I love a good monochromatic #ootd! And I have to admit, black is for sure my favorite way to pull off a look with one color.
