Hey girl hey! It’s Friday! I died when I woke up and looked at yesterday’s blog stats. Over 260 clicks from Facebook alone. Lot’s of WTF messages. Many of you guessed arms. And no Alex, I did not shave my Brittany…this time. Thanks for reading. And if you do shave your lips….let me know what you think. I guarantee you’ll be hooked. I tried to convince my mom to let me do hers last night…and she wasn’t having it.

Weekend plans: kickin’ it hard. We have a plan free weekend. Waiting on that storm to hit. Sleeping in. Cooking. Extra cups of French press coffee. Working on Bay’s closet. You guys, she keeps growing. That means NOTHING fits, again. I’m sure Bay will work her magic and get me to take her somewhere? Who knows. And Super Bowl Sunday. Anyone else NOT watching football this weekend? Half time show and I’m good!

Here’s 5 things I’ve got on my mind today……

ONE – Door Mats // This caused a lot of discussion last week. Ha! So many of you didn’t know Target had such great door mats. HUH? Do you not frequent target weekly, like myself? Joking. They are cheap AF…like $12.99 too. Some are 10% off right now. Not a huge savings, but every little bit helps. Here’s some of my top picks….

TWO – Appetizer // After posting this appetizer in my stories this morning, I got lots of questions. So I ixnayed my original #2 for today to add this simple recipe. Salami + Pepperoncinis. I’m not sure who started making this first, but it’s a classic in our family. And the funny thing, my sister and I are both (unplanned) taking the same appetizer to the 4-H event tonight. lol. I’m telling you, it’s good!

Here’s what you’ll need:

salami
brick of cream cheese, at room temp
pepperoncinis
toothpicks

Drain pepperoncinis. Remove the stem and slice in half.

Spread a small layer of cream cheese down the center of salami.

Top with a pepperoncini half.

Tread a toothpick thought the salami + pepper to hold together.

Repeat with the rest of your salami.
