You guys, today is my first recipe post with my new blog format. And I’m BEYOND excited to announce there is now an option to “print” the recipe. Ahh! I’m so frickin happy I could cry! Ha! This has been a long time coming and I’m crazy excited that everything is finally falling into place on this space of mine!
Pretty please drop me a line and let me know if it works properly for you. And more than anything if you find this as helpful as I do!
Now let’s get to the recipe…..
So, you know I’m a big fan of easy weeknight dinners. Let’s keep it real. It’s such a busy time of the year. Anyone else straight up dead at the end of the day? But, still want to serve your family a healthy dinner and sit around the table? Chat about the days peaks + pits? Me too!
I made this super simple sheet pan recipe last night. And it was such a hit at our house that I changed up todays original blog post to share it today! I couldn’t wait.
Because:
- The new format. I was ecstatic to try it out (it’s the little things peeps)
- Crazy simple to make!
- You’re house will smell delicious
- I just know you and your peeps will LOVE this one too!
- And this weather is giving me all the recipe feels.
sausage + potato + broccoli sheet pan meal
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 package chicken sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 potatoes, peeled + cubed
- 1 head broccoli, trimmed into bite sized pieces
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon franks hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Here’s what you’ll do:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silpat.
In a bowl combine sausage + broccoli. In a separate bowl, add potatoes.
Whisk together remaining ingredients.
Pour 1/2 of the sauce over each bowl. 1/2 over sausage + broccoli. And the remaining 1/2 over potatoes. Toss with your hands.
Add ONLY potatoes to the prepared sheet pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove pan and add sausage + broccoli to potatoes. Gently toss everything together.
Stick back in the oven for 20 minutes. Once veggies + sausage are nicely browned remove from oven.
Serve immediately, nice and warm.
The crispy sausage + broccoli in this picture though….
