Highlights from the weekend……
Celebrating
We celebrated Nidia’s 36th birthday!
Missing Rachel in this picture.
Dinner at Father Paddy’s
Who knew how fun Friday nights are right here in Woodland?
We were all pleasantly surprised at how great all our food was. When you can make all 5 chicks at a table happy, that’s saying a lot!
I will for sure go back!
Tips bathroom selfies.
This top was sitting on my front porch when I got home from work. I had about 2 minutes to get ready. Slipped it on a was out the door.
TOP SHOP Cutwork Balloon Sleeve Blouse
El Charro for cantaritos. Next time I’m ordering that big ass $100 one. Ha!
Bay is still obsessed with snap chat filters. This is me trying to drive and get in the snap…lol!
I redecorated my coffee table….AGAIN!
How great is that marble tray?
Did a little online shopping….
My fashion/blog icon, Lisa Allen posted this top on insta stories Saturday morning. I tagged her in it and she responded via messenger. I almost DIED! Ha! I also bought the sweatshirt for $14! Too cute to pass up for that price tag.
Meanwhile, Bay had peanut butter pie for breakfast.
And with very little help, perfected the rose napkin fold. She was in-charge of teaching the 4-H table setting group the next day.
So pretty. I’ll be sharing Bay’s step-by-step rose fold + my Spring table setting later this week!
Davis Farmer’s Market
We found this cute stand with DIY pottery painting.
Bay picked out this bowl. Painted it with her fave colors. Then we can pick it up next weekend, once it’s been fired in the kiln.
There were all different sizes + price ranges. Fun craft for kids!!
She said she picked it out for our coffee table treasures ♥
I grabbed tons of veggies.
Do you see the romanesco peeking out?
And the most beautiful flower arrangement. Saved me a TJ’s trip!
Bagel date at Posh
Mini Asiago bagels. So cute + delish!
Bay picked a movie. Every day.
We were both ready to get up and go half way through. We stayed, but we were not into it at all. Save your dollars!
Pig Barn
Rodeo + Clover ♥
Working on two new recipes for the blog….
Roast corn salad
Halibut tacos
Dinner was a slam dunk! Don’t you love it when that happens? Recipe coming next week. Probably on a Tuesday or something 🙂
Bay re-arranged her room. And I LOVE the way it turned out. She asked me to take another picture today, since she wasn’t done yet…Ha!
I found this cute plant for my Antique Fair find a couple of weekends ago. Nugget has some great plants in washed terra-cotta pots for $5! You should probably go get one, just saying.
With some help from my Mom, I finally completed my Spring table. I could not make the final decision for the life of me. This is clearly becoming a problem…lol. But I’m totally obsessed with how it turned out.
All the details will be on the blog this week!
Almond Festival fun
My Mom/Gram joined us!
Bloody Mary cheers!
Bay is very sentimental. Especially with food. If you share the grande nachos with her once, every time you visit that restaurant, you will be expected to order the grande nachos.
She didn’t have to twist my arm.
Still in love with Seka’s floors.
Can we take a minute to talk about this dessert?
Olive oil ice cream sandwich.
Drizzled with olive oil.
Between two olive oil cookies.
Pure olive oil heaven!
Now lets all pray that they decide to keep this on their menu so everyone can get a chance to try it out!
I told Bay to Bee careful
I crack myself up!
When you totally break the law and do a mini photo shoot in a random almond orchard on the side of the road.
The portrait mode on the iPhone 8 plus is legit!
This is just one of the many pics I got of my girl ♥
Have a great Monday, my friends!!
xoxo stacyb
