12 things Tuesday…..
ONE | TV things – Vanderpump was WOW! Rachel’s convo with Ariana was so cringe. Watched the Anna Nicole smith documentary, and that was heartbreaking. Started Working on Netflix. It’s really good!!! Everyone is working toward their dream, whatever it is. Next up, Bama Rush and Bay made me promise to wait till tonight to watch it together.
TWO | Book things – I listened to two books and LOVED them both. Happy Places: A couple who broke up months ago pretend to still be together for their annual weeklong vacation with their best friends. It’s a light easy read/listen and finished it in two days. And Drinking Games, which is a memoire about becoming sober and I’ve never read anything so relatable in my life.
THREE | Speaking of books – I need a good recommendation. Something light and summery?
FOUR | Um Martha Stewart on Sport Illustrated….
FIVE | I found the summer sandals: Warm Waters Platform Slide Sandal They should be delivered this week – stay tuned.
SIX | My pants are so fun for Spring + Summer! Slim Demi-Boot Chino Pants I’ve been wearing them more that I should admit. Definitely rocking them for Memorial Day this weekend 🙂
SEVEN | If you like a good self tan, My fave tanning drops are on MAJOR sale: Tan Luxe Supersize The Body Illuminating Self-Tan Drops. I add a few drops to my body lotion for each body part I want to tan before bed. Wash it off in the morning – and I’m bronzed and good to go. I do the same for my face with my night cream.
EIGHT | Bailey played in her last club volleyball tournament over the weekend. It was 2-days in San Jose and the team had 6 girls (no subs). Bay played her heart out and it’s just another one of those bittersweet moments.
NINE | My mom traveled with us to every away + home tournament. The time together, just the three of us, PRICELESS! THANKS MOM!
TEN | Garden update: My climbing jasmine took off and I cant wait to show you how beautiful it is. We still have peonies blooming. I’ve been adding my garden peonies with a couple olive branches + eucalyptus from the yard and it makes for the perfect coffee table arrangement. The alstroemeria is coming in hot. State Fair Zinias are in the ground. I planted 6 tomato varieties, lemon cucumbers, yellow bell peppers and lots of basil too. Next on my list – Ice berg roses to line the side of our driveway.
ELEVEN | Obsessed with the Costal Cowgirl trend. Should I make a fun collage?
TWELVE | I have been rocking the wave hairstyle lately. I found the Bondi Boost Wave Wand Mini (25mm) is perfect for my shoulder length hair. Trying to wash my hair less and this helps me stretch my non-wash hair days. A little dry shampoo. Some heat spray. Then I hit the waver in sections on my hair. Takes me maybe 10 minutes max.
