{weekend notes}

Well, it’s a day late!  It’s been such a busy (work-wise) few weeks, that by the time I get home – I’m dead!  Which has left me little to NO time for this space.  I’m trying though!  Be patient with me, I’ll be back in the swing of things next week!

Intentions for the week:

• Practice gratitude, it makes such a difference
• Prune bushes and clean up the front patio #hotmess
• Trader Joe’s for some goodies (chard + dark chocolate almonds too, obvi)
• Faith Formation Parents night
• Share mine + Bay’s Old Navy Try-On
• Go greener
• Celebrate Halloween with GG + family + friends
• Swirl + Slice downtown Woodland….come see me at Serendipity!
• Get back on the #last90days challenge and maybe share more about it?
• Survive!

Highlights from the weekend…….

Serendipity Boutique + bella moda boutique + The Fancy Paint Brush Christmas Preview ⛄️ If you haven’t made it down to 517 & 519 Main Street yet, do it. The way these stores have transformed into Christmas is highly impressive.

Bay fell in love with the new “sweet citrus” scent. It’s so good.

And that was all before Friday……

Naturally, we kicked it Friday. Got our nails done and I made a family favorite. Hawaiian Chicken with green beans over jasmine rice.

Kickin it in pjs till 10am is actually way cooler than I thought.

I seriously re-decorated our house for Fall. Anyone else get over it? It was either throw away all the pumpkins or do something different. So I went to Target, obviously. Set a pretty table. Even made the record player area festive 🎃 and now I love it all over again. And the pumpkins get to stay #festiveaf

 

Until about mid November-ish, when I get the Christmas itch and pull down all (6) tubs full of lights, ornaments and holiday everything 😍

These kids have celebrated birthday, holidays and vacationed together as long as we have. Makes me smile that their age difference never seems to be an issue. They just start off, right where they left off. Same as us ❤️

Happy Birthday Dad 🎈The one you can always count on to show up (early, no doubt) no matter what. To grandkids games, lunch deliveries, fill air in my car tires at 6am, Dutch bros drop offs to the whole Lee volleyball team. You always show up. We love you to the moon ❤️
