Hello March! We’re inching closer + closer to Spring and I can feel it! The weather was amazing this weekend. Gave me a taste of what’s come + what to look forward too. I even layed out in the backyard yesterday.

I woke up feeling refreshed AF this morning. Spending the weekend relaxing. Cleaning. Family time. Gardening. It’s good for the soul. And rewarding all at the same time. Hope your Monday is off to a good start!!!

Intentions for the Week….

  • Work on my list Spring To-Do’s
  • Hit 20,000 steps per day
  • Charlie’s vet visit
  • Spray Tans with Karina NINA’S MOBILE SPRAY TAN
  • SL8 Fitness weight dates with Bay x3
  • Celebrate Nidia’s birthday with my high school girlfriends
  • Make + shoot Teriyaki Burgers (I’ve been craving them)
  • Re-style our entryway console table
  • Write a blog post on “10 must-haves for spring”
  • Pre-plan + track on my WW app

Good Morning to you!  I hope everyone of you had a nice relaxing weekend doing something you love.  We enjoyed Big Sur, Carmel + Monterey to the fullest.  Keep reading for a picture overload and highlights to our little weekend away.

“Big Sur” is derived from the Spanish language “el sur grande.”  Meaning “the big south.” Big Sur’s Cone Peak is the highest coastal mountain in the contiguous 48 states.  That’s impressive.  I didn’t realize how spread out Big Sur is either.  Luckily I printed out some directions before we left.  When they say “off the grid” it’s no joke.  I had NO service once we headed out of Carmel.  I mean absolutely nothing.  From Bixby Bridge to Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is about an hour drive.  So planning out your stops is imperative.

We hit the road early Saturday morning pumped for a road-trip just the two of us.  Here’s a few of the many highlights.

Hwy 1 has got to be one of the most gorgeous drives.  Every turnout I wanted to stop and snap another picture.  We weren’t the only ones either.  Every stop, there must have been 20 other peeps with the same idea.  I downloaded 280 pictures from this weekend – yikes.  And that doesn’t include Iphone pics.

Garrapata State Beach was our first stop.  Coastal hiking trails that lead to a two miles beach front.  The first stop is always the best, especially after a 3 hour drive.
