{weekend notes}

Wasn’t it such a perfect weekend? Hey Mother Nature, keep up the good work! We rested. We relaxed. We enjoyed friends + family. And we had corned beef and cabbage. I gotta say, it was a good one.

But, hot damn…I woke up on the wrong side this morning. I’ve been grumpy AF and I can’t blame it on staying up too late or a hangover…Ha! Tomorrow will be a better day though, I’m sure of it!

I loved seeing everyone making xoxostacyb recipes over the weekend. Makes my whole day. And all the Weight Watchers questions and newbies. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions….I got your back. And keep posting food pics. Love all the fun ideas!

Highlights from the weekend…..

Pizza always happens on Friday’s at our house. And I saved up my points for this bad boy. This here is a mini calexico. Weight Watchers Points: 8 and worth every point!

Cory and I were planning on seeing Free Solo at the movie theater but it was already on RedBox. So Pj’s + the couch won. We’ve been wanted to see it since visiting Yosemite In December. And you guys, it’s so good. I highly recommend watching this documentary!

Breakfast is the meal I look forward to the very most. Over easy eggs on anything and everything and I’m happy AF!

We did a little Tie-Dying for Sunday’s Volleyball camp theme. Happy we did it at Alex’s house though…that shit is messy lol!

I found my favorite sherpa sweatshirt on major sale! It was $30, but today is still only $34! Comes in solid black + light pink chevron + and this one I have in cream. I bought true to size, I’m a medium and Bay wears it too!

5 mile walk. Saturday was such a pretty day, I just kept going and going!

We hit 5 o’clock mass. For the 3rd consecutive Saturday. We’re straight killin it!

While Bay was at a babysitting gig (she’s getting good) Cory + I slipped away for a date night. Dinner at Buckhorn Steakhouse. Everything was so good. Except, it’s really weird going out to dinner and drinking water. Don’t worry, Cory drank enough chardonnay for the two of us though….lol.

For the past 10 years, each St Patrick’s Day, I gather all Bay’s favorite green snacks. This year was a little trickier, since she gave up candy and soda for lent. But, I managed to find some treats to make her smile. Even at 12 years old, Bay still digs a good basket of treats!

Sunday we had our first St. Patrick’s Day meal at Cory’s aunts house in Rocklin. This was the only picture I took….dammit. I can’t help but admire her huge magnolia tree in the front yard.

The only time I get a sweet tooth, is when I’m dieting or trying to be good. Thankfully I found a great substitution that works like a charm.

We ended the night with going around the table sharing our Peaks and Pits! Thanks for having us Truitt’s! And I love Charley’s 2 Chainz in the corner!

In other news….My Dad competed in a tricycle competition at Blue Note. I got tagged in this video and it kinda made my whole day. That’s him in the yellow shirt. Chances are he pulled a hammy and can’t walk today!
