Brunch: @malibufarmtiburon 🍕 the artichoke pizza is 👌🏻

Coffee + Gelato: @malibufarmtiburon Cafe ☕️ it’s a cute little extension of the restaurant. You must try the lemon zest gelato 🍨 🍋

Shopping: @fpmovement + our favorite mall @shopcortemadera – the best stores and the mall is outdoor, which is a huge plus for me 🛍️

Sightseeing: Waldo Point Harbor think boujee floating homes 🏡 🌊 also where the @appletv show, The Last Thing He Told Me was filmed. The one with @jennifer.garner. So cool! Thinking of Airbnb-ing a floating home for a weekend? Could be fun!

We kicked off our day with brunch at Malibu Farm. Malibu Farm Tiburon just opened earlier this month and it’s a gem. The location is chefs kiss. If you made reservations – request outdoors.

They have Malibu Farm blankets draped over the chairs to keep you warm and cozy.

We shared the Swedish Mini Pancakes and the Artichoke Pizza. Pancakes were good, but I’m still dreaming of that pizza.

The view from the patio. You can hop on the ferry to Angel Island right off the patio too.

We saved room and hit up the Malibu Farm Coffee Shop, which is attached to the restaurant.

They had the most amazing Lemon Zest Gelato I have ever had.

And right across the street – Free People Movement. It also just opened earlier this month. Which was the main reason for our girls day.

I always find a way to make a fun day out of any outing. Bay is OBSESSED with FP Movement, so when I saw that one opened near us, I did a little research. Found the Malibu Farm that had just opened. A coffee shop. Ice cream. And lastly, we have to see something cool…..

For the “see something cool” part, we checked out Waldo Point. Did you watch The Last Thing He Told Me on Apple TV with Jennifer Garner? or read the book? I was hooked on the Apple TV show. One episode releases each week and I was glued to it.

Anyway, it was filmed on the Waldo Point Harbor. It is open to the public, so you can walk around and admire all the floating homes. We found a sweet old lady that lived across the doc from where the movie was filmed. She took us right to it and gave us some of the backstory.

Here she is. Looks different. The little old lady told us that before the movie was filmed, they came and completely renovated this floating home. Just to give you an idea – these are boujee floating homes. Some in the area have sold for over a million dollars. So, the women who lived her – the movie relocated her while they renovated, filmed, the renovated it back to her original home. Crayz, huh? The little old lady said it took a couple of months. And imagine this, to get out to this particular floating home, you use a wagon to get all your groceries and belongings from land to the home. It’s a good half mile out.

Anyway, we found all the info so fun to listen too. The little old lady told us that since the movie aired, they get alot of foot traffic with people looking for the specific home. And instead of being annoyed by it, the residents love it and telling you all the stories. Which I think is so sweet.

We made a pit stop at our favorite mall, The Village at Corte Madera on the way home for more shopping + coffee before we made our way back home.

I always enjoy our days together. Bumping all Bay’s weird music. Stopping at all the cute coffee shops. Strolling the cute shops + streets. And taking in new spots. This was the first time Bailey drove me to the Bay area, and I have to admit – she is a great driver. Already planning our next girls days. This time I’m going to trick her into a sunrise mini hike before coffee + shopping 🙂 But, don’t tell her!!!
