‘Twas the night before Christmas Eve
and all through the house
not a creature was stirring
(except for people with kids who still believe in Santa )
sleeps till Christmas!
Sharing this super easy + fun paper snowflake DIY
I was so blown away at how simple these paper snowflakes were to make. I gathered my materials thinking there is NO way I’m going to be able to pull this off. WRONG! I made 4 and my nephew Benny even made one too. So, this is a GREAT craft for kiddos. They look gorgeous hung for decor. Attached to the wall with double sided tape. Or how about in the front window with twinkle lights?
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 7 lunch bags (any color works)
- glue gun + glue sticks
- scissors
- fishing line
Here’s what you’ll do:
Starting with your first lunch bag, flap side down and pointed up.
Hot glue a letter T (image below) across the top and down the center.
Quickly add the next bag so it sticks. And continue gluing across the top and down the center to each bag, (except bag #7)
Cut a the corners of the open end of the bag (image below) to form a point.
Right below the cut out, cut another shape. A half circle. diamond. Anything works.
Carefully fan out the bags and glue the corners to hold the snowflake shape.
Using fishing line, hang your paper stars to enjoy!
I hope this inspires you to gather materials and have a craft day with your kids. I think these snowflakes are the cutest and I know you will too!
Happy Christmas Eve Eve my friends!
