Bay made these right before Christmas. And they are so bad. In the VERY best way possible.
Crazy sweet. Crazy good. You can’t just have one. You’ll go back and pick at it. One of these kind of desserts. Ya know what I mean?
Every time you walk past the dish, you’ll cut off a tiny little sliver. Then next thing you know…..
They’re fucking GONE!
And no one know what happened or who ate them all.
caramel snickerdoodle bars
A thick layer of caramel sandwiched between layers of white chocolate + crumbly oatmeal + cinnamon and sugar. You can’t just have one!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups butter, melted
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 (10oz) jar caramel sauce
Cinnamon + Sugar topping:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Here’s what you do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter or spray a 9×13 baking dish.
Whisk together flour + oats + sugar + cinnamon + baking soda + salt.
Stir in melted butter. You’ll get a crumbly dough.
Press 1/2 of the dough into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with white chocolate chips + drizzle caramel sauce. Top with remaining dough.
Bake for another 20 minutes.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cinnamon + sugar topping (save the rest)
Allow to cool and pop in the fridge for about 4 hours.
When ready to serve. Slice into small square and dig in!
