{dupes + the pretty pink blouse}

Do you ever just itch for a change?  Is it the in-between of seasons that’s got me ready for a change?  Honestly, I’m not even sure what the change is…ha!  I’m so complicated like that.  I think I’m tired of the same ol thing.

Last time I had “the itch” (that sounds really terrible) It was the hair itch.  (that sounds even more terrible) You know, the one where you need a cut or color change?  So you hit up your hairdresser and make it happen.  That was me last month.

But, I still have “the itch!”

I know that when I’m feeling like I need a change, it’s because I DO need a change.  Now I have to figure out what will do the trick.  It doesn’t have to be anything maj.  Sometimes it’s shifting a couple little things, that make “the itch” go away.  Ok, I have to be done with that….sounds worse and worse every time I type it.

  • 100% the sun!  That would be fabulous.

  • I might move around some furniture?

  • Switch up the weekly dinner menu with something funky?

  • Try a new beauty product?

  • Maybe all of the above?

What do you do, when you feel like you need to switch things up a little?

In the meantime, since I have NO frickin idea what the change will entail, I bought myself a few pretty things.  Springy things.  Obvi, that should do the trick for now….lol.  A new blouse.  A pretty pink one.  One that screams spring.  And it made me feel better.

I apologize in advance for the terrible photos today.  I had every intention of taking outfit pictures over the weekend when it was beautiful and sunny.  But decided to save that task for a rainy, dark, stormy Tuesday morning.  Totally makes sense, right?  HA!  And my house it a dungeon.  I get zero natural light.  Which KILLS me.

Cutwork Balloon Sleeve Blouse // like to know.it referenced this blouse as boho meets victorian.  Which I think is so perfect.  I love it tucked in too.  And did you check out the gorgeous detail on the sleeves?  It makes me smile 🙂

8″ toothpick jean in Newcastle wash with let-down hem // A fun pair of denim.  Just a tad distressed on the knee.  And my first pair of let-down hem.  I have some cut-off hems that were a DIY project, but I love the look of the let-down.  Sized down and they are the perfect fit.  I think the 8″ mid-rise is my new jam.  These are currently $50 off + free shipping with code: NEWNEW

I originally bought these 9″ high-rise toothpick jean in Daly wash with button fly after reading all the amazing reviews.  They were a total flop.  I had major mom ass.  You know where the pockets are too high up on your butt?  I like to call it “high ass!”  Just goes to show, every style of denim runs differently.

Bandana  // I grabbed the “gentle blush multi”  Such a cute accessory to the bamboo clutch.  Or tired around your neck.  I wore one last week….got mixed reviews from Cory + Bay, but I liked it, so I rocked it.  For $12.50, I kinda want to buy one of each.

Bamboo Clutch Doup // I’ve had my eye on the “Cult Gaia” since last summer.  I thought it was so impractical.  The price tag and the fact that its see through.  Then I stumbled on the knock-off Amazon started carrying.  For $38, I decided to give it a try.  It’s so fun!  And nothing has fallen out…yet!

If you saw my Instagram Story Poll, which bag did you think was the knock off?

Here are the current results…….

You guys are pretty good!

Bag #1 // $128 Ark Handbag CULT GAIA

Bag #2 // $38 Miuco Womens Bamboo Handbag Handmade Large Tote Bag

I saved $90 and I’m 100% happy with the quality.  It came perfectly wrapped in a purse bag and came with a cute handbag handkerchief.  Prime it if you can, shipping did take longer than I’d expected.

Espadrille Wedge Sandal // I stumbled on these beauties while doing my weekly daily Target run.  TARGET is on fire right now.  I must stay away!  These are from the Universal Thread line.  $32!  I sized down from my normal 8 to a size 7.  And they fit like a glove.  I’m going to be honest though, not sure I will be keeping them.  I love them, but we’ve got 1 problem.  I’m already 5’8.  Throw a 4″ wedge and I’m straight up Amazonian.  Pushing basketball player status.  Ha.  I love them so much.  Bay voted that I keep them.  Only so she can have them “when I die!”  Gotta love her.  We’ll see what I decide to do.

I got 50% of you!  Goes to show, sometimes knock-offs are legit!

Shoe #1 // $32 Women’s Emery Espadrille Sandals – Universal Thread

Shoe #2 // $159 Marc Fisher ‘Adalyn’ Espadrille Wedge Sandal

A $129 savings with this doup.  Pretty good, don’t you think?

Ok, that’s all the fun I’ve got for you today.  Have a great day and see you tomorrow.  I’m thinking about sharing an asparagus salad.  But, who knows, that could change.
