Happy Tuesday peeps. I’m getting used to this Tuesday instead of Monday gig. Sounds better than Happy Monday anyway, right? Cheers to the week being 60% done!!
Friday nights that start like this are always my favorite.
Had to gear up for David Nail at the Grad. Haha. I literally have NOT been to the Grad since I was about 18 I’m guessing? Well, it hasn’t changed much. Except this time we were VIP.

I took my first solo Uber. It was of course extremely interesting. I asked Shah (the UCD student/summer Uber driver) on multiple occasions to stop talking, which he declined. But, I made it home safe and didn’t get murdered.
Kaia Plank-Off Challenge was at Nugget Market on Saturday morning. It was only myself + one other Kaia girl ready to plank. So….they asked a bunch of the Nugget employees to plank with us.
We had quite the audience. Even Ella planked next to me to cheer me on. Thanks Ella B! See the dude at the end in the black top.
This is him below. Mo-fo even did a push-up in that position. WTF? Welllll, he won. After 4 minutes, which I’m sure he could have kept going. Next plank challenge I better get some practice in. And maybe skip the 5 G+T’s the night before…lol. It was all fun either way. I hope he enjoys his Kaia Fit tank 🙂
Then I proceeded to spend the rest of the afternoon doing this…..
Floating in a pool is my new favorite. And my tan was on-point after a couple of hours. Thanks Alex + Kate +Claire + Kathy for a fun day.
Saturday evening I went with some of my best gals for dinner + Bad Moms. After my Dad called to recommend I see it asap. Yes, he went to see it and relayed back to me that “You should go see it, you can really relate to just about everything in the movie” I kinda hope he’s not referring to Carla? Actually Carla was kind of my favorite!! Kathryn Hahn plays a divorced mother with NO filter on her language or her behavior. Her character lights every scene on fire with her aimless humor.
I don’t think I’ve seen a movie theater so full of women since 50 Shades of Grey!! Only difference – they all gathered here to laugh their fucking asses off for 2 hours straight. I know I said I would lay off the F-bombs. But, have you seen this movie? There is NO fucking way you can even talk about it with out the work FUCK!
Amy (Mila Kunis) has a great husband, overachieving children, beautiful home and successful career. Unfortunately, she’s also overworked, exhausted and ready to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other stressed-out mothers (Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) to get away from daily life and conventional responsibilities. As the gals go wild with their newfound freedom, they set themselves up for the ultimate showdown with PTA queen bee Gwendolyn and her clique of seemingly perfect moms.
Sounds so fucking corny. Trust me – it’s fucking great! And I promise you will laugh so fucking hard.
If you were to ask me to explain the movie in a sentence – Bad Moms is about what “WE” want. A fierce group of girlfriends taking back their lives from the forces they’ve allowed to sabotage their self-esteem and zap their joy. With tons of F-bombs + wine + kid shit.
Grab your favorite Bad Moms (it’s a good thing, promise) grab a of glasses of wine then go see this movie!!! It’s a must!
