Mondays in a nutshell: Coffee in the morning is like a big hug telling me I got yo back girl. A glass of wine at night tells me you did it bitch cheers. Anyone else with me?
Notice the extremely late post, yeah – it’s been one of those days.
The weekend came and went in a flash. I have ALL this week off of work. I feel like such a rebel. It’s going to be a super busy week. Sutter’s Fort in the morning. Catching a flight to Seattle Wednesday. Basically work wasn’t even an option…lol.
Friday night we met up with friends for drinks + dinner. It also happened to be First Friday Artwalk, which attracts a large part of Woodland. Always nice to see downtown so lively on a Friday night. Main street lined up with people waiting outside of their favorite restaurant for a table. Music. Shops. Uvaggio was the place to be. Morgan’s On Main bar had standing room only available. We didn’t mind at all.

And then I pulled the traditional Stacy Move. See below….

I can literally fall asleep anywhere at anytime. Luckily I wasn’t the only one this time 🙂
Saturday was spent in the backyard bronzing. My favorite weekend activity, well other than drinking wine.
In an attempt to relax, I realized that a fence board was pulled open and Link (our rabbit) was nowhere to be found. I panicked. Scratch that, I had a mini meltdown. After a wild chase from the neighbors dog, I finally coaxed Link back through the fence and into our yard. It was a little traumatic, but I did it. Did I mention that I was home alone? Pretty sure he won’t be venturing back to the neighbor’s yard again.
Due to the rabbit drama, I only got a few pages into Balancing in Heels. But, what I did read, I enjoyed. Kristin Cavallari talks a lot about The Hills + Laguna Beach in the introduction. I was a sucker for both shows. Probably the main reason for my reality TV love nowadays.
Saturday afternoon we visited Matchbook Winery. I kinda felt like I was cheating on Seka Hills a little.
Rose all day. For reals!
The view and balsamic pizza were pretty amazing too.
The guys joined us for dinner at Jinju Sushi. I gotta say, it was a good day.
Sunday we spend the morning with Everett, the birthday boy at the Sacramento Zoo.
Happy Birthday Everett!!
I haven’t been to the Zoo in years. It literally is a zoo. I can’t believe the line to get in the place. And the 100’s of peeps maneuvering double strollers and wagons full of kiddos from exhibit to exhibit. The giraffes and flamingos are still to this day my favorites. Bailey agreed.
I couldn’t get over the amazing weather we had all weekend. Looking forward to more sunny weekends with my family and friends.
Rose Cheers! Hope you all have a great week!
