{Dear Fat,}

Next week, week #5 is DETOX WEEK!!  It’s that time again ladies!  You heard me right, detox numbero dos!  Are you all ready for this?

I haven’t lost any additional weight since I posted my 7 lb loss, TWO frickin weeks ago.  Zip zilch nada!   I have to admit, I also haven’t recorded my food during the weekend.  Why, oh why do weekend calories have to count too?  Does anyone else have to work all week just to rid of the weekend damage?  I’m guilty.  I need to work harder, that’s all there is to it!!  I think that -7 lbs on the scale made me a little cocky?  Cut myself too much slack.  No more.  I have 2 1/2 weeks left to kick it up a notch.  My personal (never said out-loud) weight goal is to lose 10 lbs.  I know I can do it.  But, I’m going to need a little help.  With a girls SF weekend planned, I’ve been a little stressed about my weekend prep.  I don’t know about you, but I’m in need of a meal prep/plan break.
Then I got the week#4 email – Peel’d Will Be Back!!!
Peel’d is bad ass, let me tell ya.  No prep!  No planning!  Just eat + drink + be merry 🙂
I tested it out for the first BRIK detox week and fell in love with the delivery service.  Plenty of food to keep you fueled for the day.

I always had my smoothie first, for breakfast.  Packed my soup (lunch) and two juices (snacks) to work.  The salad I saved for last, dinner.  I added some protein to some of my salads and that also helped.  I’m not a fruit eater, like at all and I really dug all the juices.  They taste fresh and packed with flava-flave.  I packed some tap-your-uncle (tapito) for a little extra kick with the soup.  Thanks for the recommendation Kaia VIP’s.

Hollywood was my favorite!!  Cranberry + celery + beet + apple + lemon.  Yumm-o.

Peel’d has created a balanced plan that includes plenty of fats and proteins with large amounts of nutrient rich juices and smoothies to support specific detox organs.

Peel’d started out with about 15 customers, which steadily increased to 30, and now we deliver to as many as 150 people each day. We make anywhere from 400 – 700 juices a day and have recently added soup, salad, quinoa bowls, paleo meals and gluten free meals to our offering.

I’m hoping that giving myself next week off, with meal planning/prep, will give me the mindset to focus more on my workouts.  It fucking better put the fire under my ass!!

  1. Man, that is unfair! And when is the magic weight loss pill coming out, anyway! I do liked Peel’d though.
