ONE – Grandma Lois, My dad’s step-mom, gifted Bailey this special necklace.  It’s my late Grandfather’s wedding band with a diamond heart in the center. (The heart was a necklace he gave Lois on their first Valentine’s Day together.)  Bailey never had the chance to meet Grandpa Brown, so this is so very meaningful to her.  Thank you Grandma Lois for handing down such a memorable piece of jewelry that she will cherish forever.  As soon as we got home she locked it up in her jewelry box for safe keeping.

Bailey will proudly be wearing this with her Christmas dress on the 25th.

TWO – Historic Downtown Woodland Carriage Rides.  Next Thursday is the last night.  You can purchase pre-sale tickets at Corner Drug.  Get there early to save yourself for waiting in a long line.

I love all the fun festive events happening downtown.  The lights + shops + all the people make it so enticing.

The 51st Annual Woodland Holiday Parade is this weekend too.  See you on Main Street!!

THREE – Pilates.  Premier Chiropractic + Pilates offers Pilates + Barre classes.  Check out all the benefits:

  • Longer, leaner muscles
  • Creates flat abs, slender thighs and a strong back
  • Helps decrease body aches and pains
  • Improve postural problems
  • No impact, easy on the joints
  • Improves sports performance
  • Improves balance, coordination and circulation
  • Compliments other forms of exercise

I’ve always heard that Pilates is the art of controlled movement.  After taking the class, I couldn’t agree more.  The reformer uses springs, bars & straps to perform tons of exercises in a variety of positions. The reformer was developed to offer movement and rehab for injured.  Today it also offers a more challenging version of Pilates.

I left feeling great.  Today, I’m sore.  But a good sore.  I can’t wait to take another class.  Usha was our instructor.  She was great….so in-tune with our movements and body types.  I would definitely recommend her.

Thanks for joining me Sarah!!

(we should have taken our photo before..lol)

FOUR – Has anyone been following The Pioneer Women’s 12 Day’s Of Boots?  If not, you need too.  Every morning for 12 days (today is Day #5) Ree posts a brand new boot giveaway.  WARNING: They are out of this world.  Not your everyday cowgirl boot, but Holy shit – those are amazeballs cute.  Ree’s been doing this for the past few years, and I never miss a day.  Clearly, I’ve never won, but I’m not giving up now!!   All you need is your name, email address, and who will get the boots if you win.  I say my mom every time I enter.  It looks better than saying, Me Duh!!

Ree Pick me, Pick me!!!

Told you they are bad ass boots!!!

FIVE – Teacher Gifts // pretty sure all teachers LOVE coffee.  At least, everyone of them I’ve met so far.  Just think – they typically spend more time with our kids during the week than we do.  That requires A LOT of coffee.  Teachers deserve A LOT of coffee.   Here’s what I whipped up for 2015 Christmas Teacher Gifts.

I recommend settling for the regular good ol Hershey Kisses.  These damn Santa Hats are exclusively at Target.  Not only that, they are nearly impossible to come by.  They are so so so cute, but so so so not worth the time tracking them down.  Unless you stumble on a pack.

Here are a couple of other stores that also carry cute monogram mugs….

World Market

Macy’s – I’m in love with these Kate Spades

Happy Friday to you!  Have a great day and come back next week!!

I have a bottle of wine waiting for me at home.  Now, I just have to get through the day.  Cheers to the freakin weekend.

  1. I love my gold monogram mug!! But those babies should come with a disclaimer… No microwave & no dish washer!! I’m gonna have to re-order and be more careful this time.

PS. I think those Pilates classes are frequently on Groupon!
