I kinda had a Mom fail this morning. You see, I’m known to be a Holiday Whore. Taking Holidays a little overboard is my thang. This year, not so much. Watching Instagram stories this morning made me feel like I failed. Not really! All the Leprechaun traps. Green toilet bowls. Foot prints. Festive snacks. I was THAT mom.

Honestly, I felt like my teenager was over all my over-the-top Holiday themed goodies. Turns out, she’s not. I think when you become accustomed to treats each Holiday, you actually look forward to them.

Thank god for Target Shipt. Ha! I had ALL THE THINGS green delivered to our doorstep to assembly St. Patrick’s Day green baskets. One for my girl and a couple more for our nephews.

Instantly I felt festive + happy AF! I LIVE for this stuff. And I can’t wait to drop off some Leprechaun cheer to my peeps.

I you too didn’t get all crazy this morning, don’t even trip. YOU ARE A GOOD MOM! A GREAT MOM! But, damn – social media sure can make you feel like you’re not for a hot one.

If you have a box of lucky charms. A stick of butter. And a bag of marshmallows. I got you!

Some St. Patrick’s Day from the archives…..

They’re like a rice krispy treats, but extra sweet. Just how all the kids like them, right?

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 11 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
  • 16 oz jet-puffed marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Here’s what you’ll do:

Coat a 9×13 baking pan with non-stick spray

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in marshmallows until completely melted.

Remove from heat and stir in Lucky Charms.

Press mixture into prepared baking pan. I like to use a piece of parchment paper to lay over the top and press with my hands.

Allow to cool, if you can 🙂

ENJOY!

I don’t eat sugary cereal, like ever. And I definitely snuck a few of these. They are pretty damn good.

Remember, you can print the recipe.  “Pin” to your Pinterest board for safe keeping.  If you decide to give it a shot, pretty please – tag me.  Text me.  I can’t wait to hear what you think!!  100% makes my day ♥
