Wow, September is HERE! August was literally a blink of an eye. I’m 100% ready for Fall to begin. I think the excitement of each Season change get’s me so eager for what’s to come. September brings structure and everything falls back into place. Don’t get me wrong, I live for Summer and all it entails, but I’m craving the routine of our new September schedule.
We spent the long weekend at our family cabin in Tahoe. Our final, final beach weekend for the summer. Our last summer hurrah! And man – it was all that. We sat at the beach on Sunday for almost 6 hours and it was pure heaven!
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed and not really ready to take this Monday-est Tuesday by the horns. But, here we go!
Intentions for the Week:
- Order a 2020 calendar
- Give myself a mani + pedi…I’m thinking RED!
- Gather everything for a Fall inspired GIVEAWAY
- Make a Mississippi Pot Roast (even thought it’s hot as hell)
- Track all my food on the Weight Watchers App
- Finalize my Fall front porch
- Clean out the fridge
- Continue Intermittent fasting
- Plan a fun date night
- 4-H enrollment
This week on xoxostacyb: new Target finds. Pull out all the things Fall from the archives. And a Fall home refresh.
Highlights from the weekend……

We celebrated Bay’s 13th for the very last time…lol! With a group of the sweetest girls.

The photo cakes from Baskin Robins are so damn cute. I couldn’t resisted using this old photo I found of Bay!

Saturday morning we went straight to the beach. Our very favorite beach, Pope Beach.

I was in charge of dinner. Mediterranean Pitas! A grilled pita. Topped with hummus + grilled chicken + greek salad. Then drizzed with a balsamic reduction. So good!

We pulled out our sweaters and headed to Ale Worx. A cool spot with live music + self serve craft beers. These rocking chairs though, they just might be the very best part.
Favorite weather: 70 degrees
Favorite place: Lake Tahoe
Favorite drink: Bogle chardonnay
Favorite chick: Bailey B

SHOP: My Sweater ($26) | Shorts | Sunglasses ($10) | Bay’s Sweatshirt
We watched my nephew’s baseball game from our phones.

Back to Pope Beach first thing Sunday morning. Gotta beat the crowds! Where we spent almost the entire day. The only place I can truly relax, is at the beach.

We walked from pope Beach to Camp Rich for rum runners….it’s a MUST!

And calamari.

The band was from Sac. Wish I could remember their name – I was feelin their music.

Of course Bay had to get a scoop from the Camp Richardson Ice Cream Parlor

And we made our way back to Pope Beach.

Couldn’t have asked for a better time. Better weather. Better company.

Labor Day Sale finds from Target. Can you guess what I ordered?

We made it home in time for Bay to hang with the girls. Thanks for hosting a fun day Ashley!

Cory Cooks. It’s been a while since we’ve done Sunday (Monday in this case) dinner.

And then Tuesday had to roll around and ruin all the fun!
Pulled out some of my Fall decor. Did a little Fall home refresh. We’ll chat more about it this week!

Hope all had a great Labor Day Weekend. The party is officially over and it’s time to grind. Thank god tomorrow is already Hump Day!
