Highlights from the weekend…..

Saturday morning we found ourselves in Stinson beach. It’s our annual thing! We’ve been weekending at the Sandpiper Inn for about 5 years now. Just a quick beach trip. It’s good for the soul!
We stay at the Sandpiper Inn. And have every year. We love it!
You can read more about our tradition here:

This is the cottage we rent. Cooking and kickin it happen here. We also rent some of the cabins, which are two bedroom and have a kitchenette. They are perfect for a family.

The patio was updated since last year. This is the spot we basically take over from about 4pm till dark. It’s a perfect sitting area. Picnic tables. The kids and run around. And they provide BBQ’s.
First thing first….to the beach
It’s legit a 3 minute walk from the Sandpiper Inn.

Happy girl
Lunch at the Siren Canteen is always so good. It’s a cute little restaurant right on the beach.
They have booze now too. But this was pre-falling off the wagon. lol

The guys did some fishing.

Always, Always a good time. A weekend I look forward to each and every year. Thank you Mom + Abarca’s + Hostert’s + Fricke’s for another great trip. Lots of memories made and lots of laughs. Can’t wait to do it all over again in 365 days!
See you next year Stinson Beach!

Everyone checked out. Cory and I stayed to do a little more exploring. I’ve been wanting to check out the Steep Ravine trail. Due to a basketball knee injury, we weren’t able to make it very far. But, he gave it a shot. Ha!

The trail is about 100 feet from the Sandpiper. And it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Next time we’re going ALL THE WAY! I’m dying to climb the wooden ladder.

Pit stop in Sausalito.

We had lunch at a really cool spot that we’ve been wanting to try. The Barrel House Tavern. This is the view from the back patio. We saw seals swimming by. Watched the sail boats go by. And I ordered a glass of chardonnay. Little hair of the dog. We had the calamri fritto misto and the blackened snapper sandwich. Everything from the view of SF to the service. The wine and the food, was perfect. If you ever find yourself near Sausalito…STOP here!

And last but not least, some good ol Monday sale finds…..

Have a great Monday and see you back here tomorrow. I’ve got a really cute dress that I’ll be sharing.
