Morning!

I can’t remember the last time I said morning or had a blog post publish in the am!  So, this is BIG!  Ha!

It’s been a busy week.  Hence the lack of blog posts.  Crazy thankful for my Mom + Cory who have helped me uber Bay around from school.  The pig barn.  Riding lessons.  GATE.  I couldn’t have done it without them!

Weekend plans: a trip to Madewell to shop for jeans.  You guys, I ordered the black Berkley wash, which I LOVE.  Sized down, like I always do in Madewell.  And they’re too big.  Trust me, I haven’t lost weight either…lol.  But, I do like my jeans real tight.  Anyway, the size I need is on back order till FEBRUARY 23rd.  Real life problems 🙂  Trying to convince Cory to take me to our fave pizza spot, Masullo too.  I’m craving a day in the kitchen.  Promised GG stuffed bell peppers.  Thinking meal prepping egg cups.  Spaghetti meat sauce.  And I’ve been craving a roasted tomato soup.

I could go on and on, but let’s get to 5 things on my mind……

ONE – Leopard + Red ♥ // Very into this color combo at the moment.  But the real reason I’m sharing this is my jeans are on MAJOR sale marked down 65% off! My sweater is $15!  And these leopard flats….are 40% off today!!  Not a huge flats lover, but these are comfy and sofa king (say that out loud…ha!) cute.  I get so many compliments whenever I wear them.  Today though, I vowed to not buy another long sleeve top.  No sweaters.  No cardigans.  Nothing with long sleeves…period!  And now that I wrote it…or typed it, it’s straight up set in stone.  Saving all my pennies for Spring arrivals that will be hitting all the stores come February 1st!

TWO – Baptism // Last weekend I became a Godmother to my newest nephew.  It was a sweet intimate Baptism…he was the only baby.  I forgot the symbolic baptism candles.  The ones I ordered off Amazon that were made specifically for Baptisms.  Yep, left them on the counter.  Didn’t realize it till we pulled into Winters.  Called Dollar General and the clerk assured me that they 100% had baptism candle sticks.  Well, they 100% did not…ha!  They had the glass pillar “religious” candle.  You know the $1 ones with Jesus on the cross?  Yep, that’s what they had.  And I bought them.  And we used them.  Thank god my sister is chill AF!  I would have had a fucking meltdown.  Other than the candle incident, it was such a perfect day.  We of course directly followed it up with bloody marys and mimosas.  So, if you know of anyone looking for 2 Baptism candles…hit me up!

THREE – Yolo County Realtor Of The Year // aka one of my besties Greta!  Crazy proud of her hard work and dedication.  I can’t think of anyone more deserving.  So happy I was able to be a part of this special day!  Congratulations Greta and keep killin it!!  If you’re looking for a realtor…I kinda know someone.  And she’s clearly a pretty big deal…just saying.

FOUR – Bath & Body At The Beach //  If you’ve got a case of the winter blues….Like me!  Get this shit!  I was strolling Bath & Body on my lunch break the other day (since GAP is now closed and I already hit up Trader Joe’s) and stumbled on this scent.  You guys, it made me smile.  That crazy ass happy smile.  It smells like the beach.  To a T!  Every time I open the tube, I instantly feel like I’m sitting at Pope Beach in Lake Tahoe.  Summertime day dreaming.  It’s like they bottled up summer and I just want to lather it up on everything…lol.  Okay, I’m done!
