Last weeks Intentions: {weekend notes}
Highlights from the weekend…….
We spent the last few days in Ukiah for Cory’s family reunion.
First stop was fishing, always fishing. This time in the same spot Cory grew up fishing.
Even Bay got in on the fun. I was in white jeans + sandals…not really fishing attire.
Cory’s family rented the Yokayo Ranch. This was our home for the weekend. It housed, very comfortably about 40 people.
I can’t tell you how perfect this space was. So lush + green.
Yokayo Ranch legit had it all. The Main House (where we stayed) with 3 bedrooms. A two-story bunk house. 2 cabanas with kitchenette and all. All the amenities you could possibly want + need.
The houses are surrounded by lawn + covered patios + pool + hot tub + outdoor kitchen + big screen TV + fire pit + lawn games. You name it. Makes hosting for a large group such a breeze.
Considering the amount of people, it never felt crowded.
I’d say Yokayo Ranch definitely exceed everyone’s expectations.
This was our room with a view!
To the pool
Que Bonita Senorita
Que Bonita Senorita Graphic Cotton Tank Top ($12.99)
Saturday + Sunday, we spent 90% of our day right here. Floating. Playing cards.
Eating snow cones. Lots + lots of snow cones were enjoyed!
They break from the pool for snow cones. But, that’s about it.
Covered walkways leading to each of the houses.
Following Everett for our “nature walk”
E + B showing us the way
The LOL’s (little ol’ ladies) even put on a surprise show!
They choreographed a synchronized swimming routine to Benny & The Jets. Without anyone knowing.
This was for sure a highlight of the weekend.
They straight killed it!
Each night we had a themed dinner. We hosted the Mexican night. Photo booth props + all!
Love this boom!
But, this boom takes the cake. That shimmy though. LOL!
Oh, and tacos. Lots of tacos!
Evening view from the pool! The kids went back and forth from the pool to the spa till they were shriveled up at night.
On the count of three….
Make a crazy face 🙂
Bedroom views with a cup of coffee in hand. Crazy relaxing.
This is where it all went down when the sun went down. This was the dining room we all joined for dinner. See those microphones? That’s where the karaoking went down. It’s basically a stage and when you step on it you become a rockstar! Ha! And I learned that Cory’s family can rap better than anyone I’ve ever met. Cult 45 was the chosen jam and I kinda love these people even more now.
B + his snow cone with a side view of the pool
Bay + E really enjoying the O dip!
Traditional pit stop at the Fosters Freeze on our way home!
Alright, friends. Happy Monday….and here’s to another great week!
xoxo stacyb
